I really think you have to pay close attention to Gruden's views on the game tomorrow. I think if he wants to come back to coaching, his views and opinions during the game tomorrow would be telling. Personally, I think Philbin is done at the end of the season, as is Ireland. I think Ross really wants a name coach and he can't be happy with the results this year and last season. Ross loves big names, otherwise why would be bring in those bull**** celebrity Minority owners. Ross, wants positive energy, I would fire Philbin and ireland.

Will be to busy caring about how the current non-fired regime will handle a big MNF game to care about what Gruden is blabbing about. Thanks for the heads up though.

It will be impossible to determine with any certainty the meaning of what he says short of his coming right out and saying something definitive.

You would fire Ireland and Philbin based on what?

Sorry but you will need to Hire a Gm who will than Hire his own Coaching staff. It rarely works the other way around. Unless your Steven Ross than you saddle Philbin with Ireland

The results!? Lol the season is halfway done **** bird

btw, people do realize that Gruden turned down any offers not just from miami but other teams as well. He is enjoying his gig at ESPN immensely and is under no pressure so if you hear him say he feels for everyone involved, he pretty much feels pretty bad for all involved.

Of course, everyone else is right and I am wrong. Jeff Ireland has screwed us consistently. Ross is going to shake it up in the offfseason. OC Sherman is done, ireland is done and Philibin is done. Other than the big cog/martin bull****, Philbin is too passive to be the number 1 guy. He didn't call the plays in GB, doesn't call the players here. He is a number 2 man. If I was Philbin, I would personally get rid of Mike Sherman, call the plays myself and take control over the team. It seems like too much is deferred to someone else.

Why would gruden come back to coaching. He is making a crapload of money at espn. If the team he picks loses who cares he still gets paid and picks another one next week. Gruden is not coming back for the same reason marino doesn't try to run the fins front office. The job he has now makes him just as much money without all the stress.

If they all come back then what?

My personal opinion is Gruden will never ever coach again, I mean here he makes great money doing nothing and doesn't have to get up early in the morning everyday.

I'd be like getting Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcels to come back, its not gonna happen.

Tony Dungy the man. Yes hes never coming back to coaching but taking a step back and the Fins need a GM/Coach with a proven track record and a squeaky clean history.

Gruden ain't either.
