does anybody realize that we brought in 2 qbs that dont know how to win?
for all his stats dc has never been a winner.
joey has never won in det.
but did anybody see that joey has lead 7 come from behind victorys in det. over the last 3-4 years, thats almost all their wins.
my point is that the rep on dc is that when things go bad he folds and they get worse.
joey doesnt seem to give up,like today he wasnt great in the first half but when we looked dead he came alive, the guys aleader and he has tons of heart.i look for him to get better every week and eventualy win over all his teammates.he can become a winner.
if dc doesnt return soon this will become joeys team and not for just this year.they both wont be here next year.
im tired of hearing "if only dc was 100%" dc will never put up the stats that he did before.he needs to call kurt warner to find out how he keeps getting teams to pay him eventhough its obvious that he isnt the qb of past.
heres a ? how many people would be crying if mare made that kick.

Well I still think Joey is our future, not Daunte

DC is still the future unless Saban changes his mind and sticks with Harrington or drafts a qb.

then the future is bleak.i cant understand how saban can keep handing this guy the starting job when he hasnt done anything in a md uniform.

ps 2004 was 2 years ago and if dc doesnt comeback this year then it will be 3 years since he has had any success.

Culpepper has been to a conference finals, but then again he had Chris Carter, Randy Moss and Robert Smith, oh and that o-line plus Dennis Green coaching a really high powered offense.

Daunte could be good if you got rid of Chambers, Bookers and pretty much the whole receiving crop except for maybe Welker as your slot. Bring in a couple of big time WRs or look for one in the first two rounds this draft. Maybe find some cornerstones to build that O-line around or maybe take a page out of Denver's book and get a small, really athletic o-line out there.

If you ask me Joey is already ruined from his days in Mo'Town, honestly if it's not going to be C-Pep, it has to be someone from the draft.

I'm going to present the sad reality here.

Gus Frerrotte > Daunte Culpepper > Joey Harrington

There is nothing other than coulda, shoulda and woulda's that folks can say to dispute that when comparing these guys in a Miami Dolphins uniform. It's sad.

Culpepper lead to Vikings to the playoffs 3 or 4 times, and a NFC Championship game(yes I know GIants beat them 41-0 or whatever). Thats not fair to say he's not a proven winner because he hasn't been to a super bowl.

it has nothing to with the sb, look at his career winning%. hes not the type of qb you can count on when the pressure is on.(dont believe me?ask any vikings fan) marino never won the super bowl but he was a winner.also he doesnt make players around him better. the oline and mcmike got better real quick when dc went to the bench.its not just here but it happened in minny last year

JH is decent in the 2 minute drill but he has always made boneheaded mistakes over the course of the game. That what makes him a good backup, but the kind of starter you're always looking to upgrade. DC has been a top 5 QB in this league. His winning % when his team's defense has been even avg. is excellent so any reputation based on just his overall winning % is based on poor facts. If the future QB is on the roster, it's DC.

I didn't believe you so I did look it up, turned out you are right, his carrer winning percentage is 46%, below average. I thought it was about 65%.

they had a great system up there,it made some shi$$y qbs look great.where else did jeff george look that good.even there back up qbs looked like studs when they got to play

i just want us to win is that to much to ask:boohoo: i hope we can trade pepper next season for either oline help or a safety to replace disgraceful traveres tillman because it sure doesnt seem like our first round pick jason allen is going to do anything except warm the bench for the rest of the team, what a great investment of a first round pick:shakeno:
