Are we better off this season as compared to last season. We've been blown out pretty god twice this year and last year we were only blown out once. In fact that same theme of us goign in for the win or tie at the end of the game was also prominent in 2004.
Actaully, we only get blown out once last season, Monday night in NY. I can't think of any other game where we didn't have a chance in the 4th quarter.

Sep 11 Tennessee Lost 7-17 (had a chance in the 4th, Feeley gave Tenn 6)
Sep 19 @Cincinnati Lost 13-16 (Should have won, in the whole thing)
Sep 26 Pittsburgh Lost 3-13 (Pittsburgh went up by 10 in the 4th, up by 7 for most of the game)
Oct 3 N.Y. Jets Lost 9-17 (Had a final chance to tie, Fiedler blew it)
Oct 10 @New England Lost 10-24 (Had many chances to go score in the 4th, with a healthy placekicker the score is 24-16 and we would have been going in for the tie at the end. Severly outgained NE and held Brady to 79 yards passing)
Oct 17 @Buffalo Lost 13-20 (Had a final drive to tie, blew it)
Oct 24 St. Louis Won 31-14 (Horray)
Nov 1 @N.Y. Jets Lost 14-41 (1 blowout, no chance)
Nov 7 Arizona Lost 23-24 (UGH, Fitzy beats Howard at the end)

Nov 21 @Seattle Lost 17-24 (Feeley won the game for Seattle)
Nov 28 @San Francisco Won 24-17 (WOO HOO)
Dec 5 Buffalo Lost 32-42 (Down by 3 in the 4th and driving, Feeley dumps it off to pat Williams and the Bills win by 10)
Dec 12 @Denver Lost 17-20 (McMichael drops a crucial 4th down pass as we were going for the tying field goal)
Dec 20 New England Won 29-28 (Made the season)
Dec 26 Cleveland Won 10-7 (Most boring game of all time)
Jan 2 @Baltimore Lost 23-30 (For all you sage supporters, I think we win this game with Feeley at QB)
As many can see, we went 4-12 last year but it was greatly exaggerated as to how bad the team was. We were in every games except for one. Couple of bounces and we win at least half of them.
This season's TB and KC game were more out of reach in the 4th than any on those, except for that Jets game.
