I was just thinking about team names. How come they all are named after an animal (except for the Steelers). Why can't they be named after food? The Texas Toast. Philly Cheesesteak. Key Lime Pie (if you move the fins to the keys). St. Louis Slammers (a breakfast made of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and gravy all on top of each other if I remember correctly). Minnesota Large Pop.
Any other suggestions?

the Cincinnati Coney's(a hot dog with chili and cheese topped on it).

The Denver Omelettes, or the Rocky Mountain Oysters. :sidelol:

The Titans, Raiders and Packers are not named after animals either,,,,,lots of others too.

Packers, Vikings, 49ers, Saints, Buccaneers, Giants, Cowboys, Redskins, Browns, Steelers, Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Texans, Titans, Jets, Patriots and Bills are all not animals. That's over half the league.

You can't have any 'team' without a player named William 'the fridge' Perry.gotta keep the food cold.

The Bills definitely are animals.

Texans. Their logo is a bull. That's an animal. The name "Packers" is from the teams founding in which the founders packed cheese. Which is food related.
