For the first two games of the season he had a 65.73 rating.
Compared to the last two games where he had an 85.25 shows statistically that he is improving.
With the pressure the line allows improvement in any shape or form shows that he will continually get better and better.

Albiet the last two games we played have been against considerably "weaker" teams, he has shown improvement through adversity and has gotten better each game as a pocket passer, which he'll need to be atleast while his knee is recovering.

I don't care who the QB is, when they have this much pressure in their face they will not perform at their best/high level.

And some may say that his lack of pocket presence is the reason for all the sacks allowed. I want you to compare his time in the pocket before a defender gets within three feet of him to the best in the league. You'll find that he has considerably less time to make decisions in relation to those "Pro-Bowl" or high performing QBs.

EVEN David Carr has been sacked six less times this season...

The reason teams come with so much pressure is everyone knows DC cant beat them deep.

No, because our offensive line has two people playing the same position they did last year...

I think Mularkey needs to game plan for what the Patsies will bring, not what our playbook dictates.

And how many wins have come from those games against sub average opponents?

a league leading 21 sacks for -150 yards. Daunte Culpepper: "The Drive Killer." That should be his new nickname. Not to mention we just played the Titans and Texans. But nobody seems to care about how bad these teams were. Just looking for a way to argue that Culpepper has been "better." He's not turning the ball over against poor teams. That's great. But they're just poor teams. He's still on his back more than Drew Bleedsomuch.

a great comparison will be this wk. Simple, count in ur head how many seconds DC has and then Brady.

his 2 td's came late in the game with the team already trailing and defenses playing prevent. Its stst padding. and do you guys realize we have played the easiest schedule in the league.

the drive killer? are you serious? how about the dolphins o line the drive killers. man you daunte bashers are ridiculous

sorry man but stats are for couch potatos he has lilke 2 tds that is really bad for a QB that started 4 games n throwing like 200 yrs a game means that he is not getting us were we need the...6 points but i cant blame all on him we are not running the ball n we aregoing shot gun almost every down really bad

Yes, those sacks for big losses are drive killers are they not? It makes it a lot tougher to pick up the first down.

And unlike you Culpepper apologists, I refuse to blame it all on the O-line. Partially, yes. Entirely, god no.

There are worse LINES in the league than Miami, but OUR QB still leads the league in sacks. Now how do you figure that, huh smart guy? Cleveland? Houston? Tennessee? Oakland? they're all arguably equal, or worse than ours.

The last two games are against the Titans and Texans, two of the worst defenses in the league

:fire: ALL YOU DAUNTE BASHERS WILL BE EATING YOUR WORDS BY THE BYE WEEK!:fire: I AM TIRED OF YOU ALL BLAMING IT ON HIM, THIS IS A TEAM SPORT! WAKE UP AND SMELL WHAT YOU ALL ARE SHOVELING!:fire:

He has played better, but I have yet to see him consistently play well. Like pretty much everybody else on the team this year.
