Robert Edwards worked out for the Dolphins on Tuesday

Ex-Dolphins tailback Robert Edwards was one of six free agents to work out Tuesday.
Edwards, 31 on Oct. 2, played as a backup with the Dolphins in 2002 after missing three seasons while recovering from a knee injury.
He hasn't played in the NFL since being released in the 2003 preseason.
The Dolphins are not believed to have immediate plans to sign Edwards or any of the five other workout participants (wide receiver Jason McAddley, running back Brock Forsey, safety Henry Baker, offensive lineman Victor Leyva and return specialist David Allen).
The team wanted to evaluate them for future consideration.
