I'd rather reserve expectations and be pleasently surprised than be Gung Ho and have a the major let down we all suffered last year.

Actually I'm not as concerned with the offense as many here are. I'm more concerned with our secondary. I'm doubtful we will stop anyone through the air and I am still afraid that our defense will have trouble with stopping the run.

Yes we picked up some truly talented players....but they are new to this system and heck everyone is new to Saban's way of teaching. Expecting all that stuff to mesh in year 1 is ludicrous IMO.
 
I too think we have one of the toughest schedules. And there's so many ways our season could pan out. If our O-line works together then they'll be a tough wall to get through, which could mean nice holes for our RB's & less mistakes by AJ. New & better coaches - a plus. Ricky back - probably a plus. A healthier team to start the season - a huge plus. R. Brown - most likely a huge plus. Boston - probably a plus. Loosing Mikey 4 games - a minus. Keeping Mare - a minus IMO.

Fact - we do better than last year
Hope - 16 & 0
Prediction - 10 & 6 / 9 & 7

Some people here think we could be back to form, JT seems thinks so. I think he knows a little more then some of the nasayers that post here. What's your point w/ this thread? Yeah, so JT thinks the media and fans are harsh . Big deal. What he thinks and what he knows are 2 different things. So he knows about what goes on in his team, does he know about what goes on w/ other teams? Does he have the ability to control what will happen? NO!!!!!!

This thread and your posts was a waste. No substance.
 
The Bills message board has just as many doubters. I think it's easier to expect the worst and be happy when it gets better? Drew has been a huge disappointment and most 99.9% of the Bills loyal are glad he's gone. Now we have to temper our expectations with not knowing what we really have for a QB yet. Then again, some people live to b!tch about everything.
 
I have high expectations but I am not going to make a prediction yet. There is still a lot of camp left and the whole pre-season. A lot of things can happen between now and then. With that said I think we will be a lot better than 4-12. I agree that we have much more talent offensively and in some areas on defense. Our biggest weakness to me is the secondary but as camp goes along and the players learn more and they gel together that could change. So I will hold off on a final prediction.
 
How is your schedule the hardest you have the easiest schedule in the AFC east!!!

Based on the records of the teams last year.... the Dolphins have the hardest schedule in the NFL.

Huh? We wanted Wannstedt with a lesser roster (outside of Surtain) to take us to the big show and all expect to get at least to a divisional game......and two years later with a totally improved roster (players and Coaches) your going to be happy with 8-8? This is still a winning team! We had a bad year but every team has one of those eventually! Why couldn't we realistically go 11-5?

No offense dude, I just don't get yours (and many others) thought process.

Balls, break down the improved players for me? I want to know, plus, do you guys take into consideration that this is the first year for these players in this system, both on O and D? Do you think they will know this system inside and out by the start of the season?

7-9 at best, However I think its going to be 6-10. JT is a great player and I hold a lot of respect for him, but I think hes being overly optimistic towards the teams ability in the coming year.
