Boomer your my fav Draft Guru!! it's time to say who is the better pro QB!!

IS Brian Brohm better than Russell and Quinn? Why?

Is Russell better than Quinn and Brohm?

Is Quinn Better than Russell and Brohm?

If Brian Brohm does enter this will be intriguing for our pick!! 3 QB's can go top 10 As of Brain Brohm
Jamarcus Russell
Brady Quinn;

Boomer out of those 3 QB's which one suits our offense?

and finallly The Sonic Booom!! last question will either of these QB's fall to us at number 9?

I know the combine has to do alot of where they will rank but will miami go QBif one of em fall?
 
boomer hasn't been aroudn much this year. not sure hwy. last year he was aorund A LOTT

I think Boomer and the other draft guys chill out in the VIP these days. Then again I dont have a pass so I could def. be wrong :)
He was just in here a couple of days ago though.
 
I've talked to Boomer recently. And while I can't answer all the questions for him, it seems like he thinks we don't go QB first round as we have Daunte. That's what he told me, anyway.

How can anyone possibly know anything about the draft plans when we don't even know who will be calling the shots.
However, if one of the top 3 QB's is there at 9(assuming Brohm comes out), we would be foolish to pass on him.
 
I'm hoping Brohm comes out because even if he is gone before our pick that just means another player would fall to us, someone like Dwayne Jarret

as for this thread I'll give you my imput even though I'm not Boomer, as far as talent goes I would rate them Russel, Brohm, Quinn. but not everything is based on talent, Russel wasn't the best decision maker in college and thats the biggest knock on him. thats a pretty big one if your a QB. but he's as talented as they come, he has the strongest arm I've ever seen on a QB, he's mobile and can be very accurate. he has the most potential of all of the QB, compare him to Daunte Culpepper if you will. Brohm is the classic drop back passer, he will sit in the pocket, read the defense and make all of the throws. good decision maker. I compare him to Peyton Manning in some regards, he's not quite the student of the game that Manning is but he's as good of a player as Manning. Brady Quinn is a guy who has all the intangibles, he has all the physical tools of the prototypical QB. scouts love that he was coached by Charlie Weis, he is the most NFL ready QB in the draft. but what I don't like is that he often makes bad decisions and for that on my draft board he would be the lowest of the three. he can be compared to the guy who Weis coached in NE, Tom Brady
 
Boomer not only has no idea which one will be the better NFL quarterback, he also doesn't have a clue as to which one, if any, the Dolphins would be interested in.

From reading through Boomers opinions and writings this past off season and then going through some of his other things I dug up, Boomer may not know what the coach knows but he understands everything better than 99.99% of the people on this board... So most of the time I believe what he writes... except when I don't want to :lol:

That would be a very big mistake, if we were able to pickup another quality QB, and we skipped doing it again just because we have Pepper, that would be a VERY BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Unless someone can actually tell us that there is no Doubt Pepper will be back to 100% Physically, and will be as effective as he was in Minny before 2005, if not, and you got a chance at getting a youngr talented QB, you jump on it....end of story.
