Can you give me the names of some veteran qb's that have yet to find success in the NFL that might succeed in this offense. I know everybody wants Luck, RGIII and Manning. What's plan B if those three options fail?

if we fail to land RGIII, manning, or flynn, I daresay we stick with moore and draft a tanny or weeden. Heck even if we get manning or flynn we still need to draft another qb at some point in this draft.

A lot of 'em are either current property of the Miami Dolphins, will soon be past property of the Miami Dolphins, or were property of the Miami Dolphins at some point.

In the future, a PM would suffice. :)

We've been talking about Matt Flynn a lot. I think he's a good bet. I think Ryan Mallett will find success in the future once he's traded by the Patriots. I think T.J. Yates will have some success some day, when it's his time. He showed a lot as a rookie for a guy that came in as a 5th round pick and was the team's 3rd string emergency QB all through training camp (i.e. hardly any reps during practice). The problem is, just wanting there to be a next-great-thing out there doesn't mean there is one.

In future Drafts I think Matt Barkley is a good shout, obviously. Tyler Wilson also one to watch. Tajh Boyd is short but there's something about him I love. I really think you've got to watch out for A.J. McCarron. Sometimes that break between the end of the season and the bowl game functions as like an off season, to where the bowl game previews what might be to come in a guy next year...and if that's the case McCarron has some great natural talent and is definitely one to watch. A guy that nobody is talking about yet but that I think people will be talking about soon is Connor Halliday up in Washington State, especially now that Mike Leach is in town.

I've left out quite a few names that many people like, such as Logan Thomas, Tyler Bray, Aaron Murray, Landry Jones obviously and E.J. Manuel. They will be guys to keep an eye on for sure but I'm not QUITE as optimistic as the crowd.

What is wrong with Alex Smith?...The guy had a very good year and would be well worth the look.

Because if you are Alex Smith why would you leave a team one game from a superbowl where you already have a comfort level with the coach

If we don't land P.Manning, Flynn or RG3, it's time to drop back and Punt. I think Flynn is the best option given that he knows Philbin, or drafting Tannehill, if Sherman runs a similar system as he did at Texas A&M.
