Browns | Bentley says he is interested in returning to Cleveland
Sun, 29 Jan 2006 07:50:25 -0800

Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/25/nfl">New Orleans Saints OC LeCharles Bentley, a native Clevelander, has told friends that he would like to return home and play for the Cleveland Browns. Bentley is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in March.

Add him to the growing list of players just dying to live and work in Cleveland.

The weather, the beaches, the team... it's the San Diego of Middle America.

what are you a realtor:sidelol: :sidelol: just joking

I think growing up there is about the only reason that any sane football player could have for wanting to go to Clevland.

Didnt the Ohio River at one point catch on fire. I am not being rude, but why would you really want to live in Cleveland.

Come on now guys...I am from Cleveland and it is great. No nevermind I was jk, it really sucks being from Cleveland. The only thing we got is LeBron and its only a matter of time until we lose him. But anyways....it was actually the Cuyahoga River that caught on fire. It goes right through Cleveland. Pretty sad that a body of water can catch on fire...isn't it?

Speaking of Saints players, how about signing Sullivan if he gets cut? He has loads of talent, but so far it hasn't translated. I'm sure a former SEC player might interest Saban.

LeCharles is a former Buckeye, and I'm sure he'd say this in response....

"Yeah, it's right up there with Ann Arbor, the San Dimas nearby. Go BUCKS!"

:sidelol:  :D

He can "want to play in Cleveland" all he wants. When the Saints franchise tag him he is not going anywhere.

Yep, Sean Payton is not going to let his best offensive player walk out of town.

As long as it doesn't cost us much. I'm not buying the change of attitude yet.
Sullivan was one of the players that Haslett caught in the press box before the game looking for food. The other guy was a low cost backup and was immediately cut. Sullivan was suspended if I remember correctly.

One good thing about this is he sounds like he's willing to leave the Saints. Maybe Miami has a shot at him if he doesn't get franchised.
Man I'd love to see him a Dolphin.
