Im watching the bills game and Donte Whittner who a lot of people on this board wanted is not starting either, so it just shows it takes time for the rookies to adjust

don't be introducing common sense and reason into the fray, you will confuse things..:goof:

the haters won't acknowlege it anyway...

since the middle of the 1st quarter all the way to the end of the first half he has been in the lineup as our starting SS. He didnt start the game, but he has played more than Wire up to this point.

I think the Fins safety depth is more deep than the Bills if I'm not mistaken . . . Bell is our 3rd . . .he could start for some teams.

I believe if Jason was allowed to concentrate on just being a safety, we would have seen a better progression from him. His hold out seriously hurt his ability to be upto speed with the rest of the defense. Unfortunately... his 'education' will now have to be when the games matter.

I'm starting to get a little bit concerned about Sabans drafts. Is Ronnie Brown a 1st round talent? Yes. Has he produced like a top 5 pick? HELL NO! Has Matt Roth played like a 2nd round pick NOT AT ALL!! Now Jason Allen who was the 16th pick in the 1st round is playing special teams; not exactly what anyone had in mind when he was drafted.

Too right. Not only was he late into camp but he has been trying to learn 2 positions, in a difficult scheme, at the same time. It is enough to ask a rookie to come late into camp and step up but to ask a rookie to learn so many new things at once is surely bordering an impossible.

By mid season, we should see a remarked difference in his play and he will show us why Saban made him our number one pick. Have faith !!

we already know how much you love Ronnie;

Brown is a bust. Period. If anyone do not like what I'm saying, too damn bad.
I am now scratching my head wondering what the hell Rick Speilman saw in Reggie Howard to have sign him last year; the guy just cannot play. Hopefully
we will stay afloat the next couple of weeks until ricky comes back and Poole
later in the season to help us stay in contention.

but you are schitzoid;

My Apologies To Ronnie...Again
I called him the Yugo early in the season when comparing him to Cadillac Williams. But after watching Ronnie Brown the last 3 weeks, I can now say
Tampa has the Cadillac, we have....THE BENTLEY!!!!!!! These two guys are going to be great backs though, but it looks like Brown may be the more durable.

I'm not wrong on football players very often. But I will keep apologizing to Ronnie every week until people are sick of me. In fact I plan to mail a letter to the Miami
Dolphins tomorrow and apologize to him personally. I deserve all the hits I get or will get for criticizing him after the Jets game.

wooops...here's where Ronnie failed, he couldn't keep phinkings mouth shut...darn Ronnie Brown;

Ronnie, please keep my mouth shut.
I will admit to being Ronnie Brown's biggest critics. I saw some good things from him today and not the least of which was a 100 yd performance. I hope he will keep my mouth shut for the rest of his career. And let us all congratulate the offensive line for a gutty performance today also.

sounds like an expert talent evaluator to me.

Free Dolphins trivia for the day ....guess who the player on the team that was the highest draft pick is? It's not Ronnie Brown or Daunte or Chambers.

It's Big Daddy. He was drafted #1 overall in 1994.
