Everyone is saying the different areas there are to blame, and ALL of them are justified one way or another. but for me im watching the Arizona vs Chicago game right now it has hit me, are receivers deserve a lot of blame, Arizona has a poor offensive line (like us), they have a PROVEN back in Edge James who isnt doing anything this year because of their line (much like Ronnie), QB issues with Warner playing like Sh*t and Leinart although has ALOT of potiential is still a ROOKIE, (for us Culpepper and Harrington) but the difference is there Receivers get OPEN and CATCH the ball, guys like Fitzgerald and Boldin. yes they are 1-4 like us but their D is no where near as good as ours, right now they are up 14-0 on the AMAZING bears Defense, can anyone here honestly see us putting up 14 on the bears D i sure cant, and they are up because their Receivers get open and catch the ball, despite the QB, Line, and Running Game problems they have.

Receivers? Much less of a problem after:

-Offensive line
-Coaching/Playcalling
-Special teams [well, KICKING]
-Secondary

Receivers would fall into......

"Consistency from every other unit"

Everyone deserves some blame, OLine, QB, WRs, Seconday, Coaching, Play Calling, even Paris Hilton's Dog Tinkerbell.

To say just one area is at fault is crazy when they all are under-performing.

The offensive line seemed to be everybody's favorite whipping boys, but they actually played a good game against the Jets. The pass protection was good and so was the run blocking. The fullback made some huge blocks for Ronnie as well and the WR's and TE did drop too many passes. If they catch those two in the endzone, we win the game easy. The defense needs to create some turn overs and the offense has got to capitalize on these opportunities.

I wouldnt say they did good in pass protection, Joey was still getting rushed quite a bit. Run blocking they seem to have completly turned it around though for the Jets game.

everyone is to blame on offense, from the oline to the qb but the wr's are the least of the problems

We are still capable of getting hot like last year and go on a tear. No reason to abandon ship, the offense is making progress, I predict they will put on a show this weekend.

I dont know how you guys can say the WR's are the least of our problems, When they dont get open, the QB's get sacked making the line look worse than they might be. When they dont catch the ball we dont convert and when they let balls bounce off their hands and chest into the arms of defenders it makes the QB's look worse, im not say the receivers are the only blame but they are a BIG part of it

Bro. people have been predicting that all season long. If we win this week it is because we should. It's Green Bay for crying out loud. 8-8 is all i want.

The WR's are not the problem. The problem is Chris Chambers. All the talent in the world and all he does is disappear into the game along with the o-line.

although i completely agree with you about chambers, why does Booker get a free pass? he disappears worse than chambers imo

Yup. Receivers killed us.

I will amend it and say the receivers and Sammy Morris (fumble and stupid penalty on KR).

Injurys tend to make players disappear for awhile.

I agree Chambers pulls a dispearing act in every game. Hagan is a rookie and he was all ways open, but has the rookie hands to go with it. Are top receivers s**k big time, except for Welker of course.
