I see that a small minority of people have been complaining about our FA Class. I just dont see what your rift is about. You guys want all the Sexy FA pickups which on paper would look awesome. One thing that i want to point out to you guys is that Free Agency is a way to add a few final pieces to a team ready to compete for the superbowl. We are FAR FAR AWAY from that happening. But if sexy FA pick ups is what your looking for go root for the REDSKINS and tell me how thats working out for you.

Parcells and Ireland have done a great job of picking up Players who will be low risk high reward guys. Just because you have a lot of money doesnt mean you should spend it foolishly! The plan all along for these guys is to build through the draft. We got guys like Torbor and Ferguson to be stop gaps. A guy like Wilford who is just what we needed at WR to compliment GINN. Pace is on his way over giving us an option to trade JT if we get offered something good enough to give him up. Smiley is a good YOUNG OL.
Which we might have slightly over pay but considering what OL are getting these days is pretty good.

The bottom line is guys is that patience is needed from us fans. I know its hard because we have been patience long enough with the wave of morons who have been hired to run this team into the ground. Just know this! this time we are going to rebuild for real and we have guys who will do it right!! so just sit back enjoy the moments and support our PHINS!!!!

WHOS WITH ME????:hi5:

The other thing to mention is these guys are young, with the exception of Ferguson. Young vets with 3-5 years experience in their primes. These guys can make a young difference. Some of these guys didn't get a chance to start but when they played they played well. With our coaching maybe they get better. But then I've always been a glass is half full kind of guy.

Remember when we signed Porter last year...some were saying nobody would dare run against us, and Brady, amongst others, would be running for his life!
Well, after watching Justin Fargas and my grandma run for more than 100 in a half, I better understood the reality of FA...Don´t overpay for fading stars or players that do not fit your sistem

This team has been neglected for a long time. Let Bill work his magic. We need to re-tool and re-stock because it wasnt working the way it was.

Agreed... Although I havent seen much people complaining... But for those who are, I also do not see how they could as there is nothing to complain about. We have signed very solid free agents at, what I would consider, great prices. We havent overpaid for anyone and have gotten great value out of these signings. Instead of spending top dollar on 1 or 2 picks and then sitting down after those 1 or 2 high priced free agents, we are signing solid, and valuable guys while filling many holes

I love these signings....age,price...perfect for a rebuilding team.

im sorry i wont hide my disapointment thus far....yes some names are that we wanted are sexy on paper but most of them are even sexier to look at...didnt we do the low risk high reward thing last season???? with 44 million dollars im sorry i want good players who will stabalize this team and we can win games with our draft pics...we havent looked at our vastly depleted D-backfield yet, and we signed yet another David Martin at TE and we have traded for...a DT...not Rodgers mind you...a....ferguson...the low impact role player bit has at this point made me vomit...give me someone who i buy his jersey...a REAL IMPACT PLAYER what are they saving the money for....the first pick????

Teams go from crappy to good in one year. We can make a huge leap next year If beck turns out to be the MAN. Considering we get JAke Long also.

This is the first time in a long time I have felt there is a PLAN in place... Rotoworld said us and the Bucs have by far been interviewing the most players and the way we have come out of the gate shows me we are focused in who we want and determined to get them. It appears that SOMEONE noticed how disgraceful we were against the run and we are bringing in the big dawgs to correct it immediately... Frankly I love it and every time I refresh we have someone new..LOL.. Look we just signed McCown!

Slow and steady wins the race guys. Bill is working his magic. He is filing positions with very capable young players so they can help us now and be here when we turn it around and become super bowl contenders again. And the other pickups are stop gaps and system players to stay in place because either the draft is weak at that position (NT) or he doesn't like a particular player. He has worked his magic and every place he goes he finds Diamonds in the rough and im confident he will do that here. we will look back after the first few weeks of the season and be pleased with our team.

Yeah BTW, the Wilford deal is approximately 4 years/13 mil w/6 mil gaurranteed. Not bad price. Starks is 5 years/21 mil 7 mil gauranteed.

This just in: Josh McCown signed for 2 years 6.25 mil

This team was 1-15 last year, NOT EXACTLY IMPRESSIVE. Any signing on this team should be valued because any signing can make a contribution. It could be worse and you could be a Raider fan. At least we have a direction we are going to. The Raiders philosophy is basically " Non Commited to Stability". Every player should be welcomed with open arms. If you want BIG name signings, you are at the wrong place.

i know what are parcells and ireland thinking!!!!! its only been a few hrs since free agency began... and we havent wont the super bowl yet!!!!!!:sidelol:

This was as a good 1st day for free agency as we were going to get without getting crazy with the money.

For those that are complaining, you guys really do need to look at the big picture....

1. We got younger

2. We picked up a good amount of solid talent to hopefully better then solid.

3. We just became bigger at the D-line, and WR.

4. We fixed a few holes we were going to have to deal with on draft day.
