I kinda have a ton of respect for his opinion. I think progress continues with the Dolphins, playoffs or not. That is directly attributable to the coach. Our QB is learning and improving which needs to continue. RT would have been much better with a consistent quality line in front of him. Defensively disappointed with the new linebackers - anyway out of those contracts? and which interior defensive linemen return? Hate that the Dolphins

Starting to believe RT is like Romo. A choke artist. Scaring me

Hope he proves me wrong.

Philbin has to go, if we don't get in, I'm sorry but if you can't score a point against Buffalo and win at home to a terrible jets team, when they playoffs are there if you win the game, you don't deserve to keep your job. He's done a awful job these last two weeks, as has his team.

Progress is an absolutely ridiculous concept. You either do your job well or you don't. There is no correlation between a team barely missing the playoffs and them getting better the next year. You either have a staff and a roster capable of turning those select situations that would have made you into a playoff team into victories or you don't. Those tendencies don't disappear from year to year.

He ****ing sucks. I am so tired of people defending him.

However you see it you can't blame everything on Tannehill. This defense has provided the same performance and script versus every opponent, whether it be Geno Smith, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, or Thad Lewis. When every game is the same, its not the opponent, its you.

The only question is, if Ross thinks Philbin can't be fired because he's such a nice guy. Ross seems to be the biggest joke of all, does he even care?

What did you say?????????????:idk:

I'm sorry it comes down to coaching and he is consistently out coached! And who hired the assistants? That is not on Ireland. Though he is not immune from this disaster. Philbin hired Sherman his mentor and buddy who is not going anywhere, who recommended his son in law who has no experience with QB's especially our franchise QB if he becomes one. Also hired Turner who can't coach a line to save his life. Who then hired Coyle who allows crap QB's destroy his defense. And do not give me that Philbin was the OC for GB and developed Rodgers, we all now know it was Clemente, that is why GB would not let him go with Philbin. GB was not stupid, they are a well run organization.

i long for the days of when I enjoyed this team in the 70's & 80's, unfortunately I do not see that happening with this crew. I hope we win but if we win it will be in spite of the bozo's running this team and organization. If we lose watch nothing will happen, the message will be we need to continue on the path. Which is mediocre.

Win today=progress, lose today=no progress.

I never liked Philbin, or his West Coast style offensive philosophy. On top of that, he (with the help of Ireland and Coyle) has turned a Top 5 run defense into a Bottom 5 run defense.

Clean house!

You can win with the west coast offense as Philbin runs it, even be dominant with it. Green Bay has been amazing with it. But I don't like it either. I was a million times more impressed by Daboll's once he had a QB who could throw vertical (maybe that is holding back Philbin's as well, but seeing as he has picked and coached a QB who has regressed in vertical passing despite having the best deep receiver in the game signed for him, I don't give him a pass for that.)
