For the Tony Sparano supporters

Burning a timeout is and was the issue there, u dont waste a time when your down 2 scores with 8 minutes left, thats stupidity for you since you wanna bring that up.

The timeout was stupid of course and that pissed me off too, and in other forums I ranted about the timeout as well, but you stated "Same old Conservative Tony" meaning you wanted Henne to snap the ball so we can try and pick up the first down. Obviously Henne should have taken the delay of game....

point is, our defense sucks and cant cant be counted on to win us games.

Not for nothing they were doing a pretty good job against the run up until that last drive. The front 7 that we have should be able to be counted on, unfortunately it didn't hold up. Having Dansby out hurt us there without a doubt.

Well I'm sure Tony is disappointed to have lost your confidence. But luckily for us, you don't make the personnel decisions.

I don't understand this comment. I never said I could be a great coach and make better personnel decisions. Why would you even bring that up? This is such a homer comment. Sparano has lost most of the fan base.

Since before that
Whatever. These players havent been playing for Sparano since week 17 of last year at least. They mailed in the week 17 game, then several players spoke out against him, and now are clearly dogging it. Tony MUST go.

And seriously...when did Houston become GOOD? Just more excuses for a regime that's in over its head.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they told him to do, and he simply messed it up...he obviously suffered a mild concussion on the play before that 4th down

Let your support be heard here!

Knee JERK reactors need not apply; only moderate educated astute posters who understand football.

Those who realize that our roster is infinitely more talented than it was when this regime took over...

Those that understand we played two hard fought games against arguably two of the best teams in the NFL.

Those who understand the secret to long term success in the NFL is continuity.

I believe our team is poised to make a little run here, and prove all of you doubters wrong.

If I'm wrong I'll admit I am, but I truly think some of the vitriol being spewed on this site is pure rubbish.

The posts that QB is our problem...huh? You mean the guy who threw for 400 yards week 1? The guy who had some touchdown passes dropped last week, and had his field goal kicker miss two point blank field goals?

Listen Tony Sparano has been quick to fix his faults; yea he's learning on the job a bit...but this is no time to start over. The football PLAYers on this team have to begin making PLAYS.

We're 0-2 not 0-12 but it would be hard to tell the difference if you look on this board.

No reason to be in any sort of Suck for Luck sweepstakes; Henne is the guy. We couldn't lose enough games to get the first pick if we tried anyway.

Okay...now I feel better; continue sniffing glue and calling for Sparano's head if you must.

I like how you think.......I'm not ready to fire the coach for going 0-2 in season four which he is 500......this team does need to have a good season to sign him to another contract but calling for his head at 0-2 is a little much......even for this fan base....

It's week 3.

He's the coach.

Let the season unfold and see where it goes.

If the Dolphins have a losing record at the end of the season, make changes.

Freaking out after losing two games against two good teams is a bit premature. Everybody knew the first half of the season was going to be rough. Before the season started it wasn't crazy to think the Dolphins would hit the bye-week at 2-2.

The season has 16 games, I'm not writing the Dolphins off after 2.

And seriously...when did Houston become GOOD? Just more excuses for a regime that's in over its head.
Vegas has them at 10-1 odds to reach the Superbowl. Apparently they think Houston is good.

Your failure to understand my comment highlights the ignorance of your original comment and assassinates any sort of credibility your original post may have had.

I don't want him as the coach anymore. What's ignorant about it? I've seen no improvements or anything positive to make me think otherwise. Things actually seem worse.

If this team is infinitely more talented and still cannot win, the coaches blow and need to be fired. Moderate educated astute posters who understand football realize that.

Can't really blame them for mailing in week 17 when we were officially out of the race can you?

Only one player spoke out against TS and he's now wearing a Baltimore Ravens uniform.

The Texans are GOOD and have been GOOD for a while; their biggest problem in years past was their inability to play defense. This year with Wade Phillips and a few key additions it seems they have sured that up. Not to mention the Texans have started off the past couple of seasons very strong. So yea, the Texans are good.

Idk where you see our team "quitting" on Sparano; they look to be trying pretty hard to me.

But you're right, we really missed on that Daniel Thomas pick and Edmund Gates they suck ;) Pouncy is **** ;) that Jake Long guy is terrible ;) What were they thinking signing Cameron Wake, Karlos Dansby and Randy Starks ;) Kendall Langford was the worst use of a mid round draft pick I've seen in years ;) That Chad Henne is terrible So what if last year he was the only QB that didn't have a dropped interception and that he was handicapped by a terrible offensive coordinator for his talents He still sucks ;) I don't care if he looks sharper and more confident and like more of a leader this season he still SUCKS! ;) Man and Sean Smith and Vontae Davis, I have one word for those two, BUST ;)

you see what I did there?

I could go on, and imitate the irrationality some of you posters exude if you'd like??

So your saying that they had a right to mail it in? Wow I wish every Friday I could just half *** my job and get paid. Wouldn't be employed long I can tell you that. And lets face it, we couldn't beat the texans when they sucked, so it doesn't matter when they got good.

I'm with the OP. There has been a bevy of knee-jerk reactions the past two weeks, and people have consistently failed to consider the quality of the opponents we have faced.

Alternatively, the argument is "well, I want a team that can win against the great teams". I think we all want that, and it's not like we didn't put up a fight. We haven't been rolled over. You have to consider we *could have* won against those teams if a couple of things break our way.

I'm not a blind homer, and I fully support a change in regime if we tank to a 3, 4, 5 win record. But we're not on that path; not yet anyway.

I hope the tune changes around 4.15 PM tomorrow, but knowing this forum, I'm not holding out hope.

ameen

last week was the players. you cant blame tony for what happen aginst the texans. im tierd of people not putting the blame where it should be. the talent is there to win ball games. and bro if u dont know how to respond to that post your an idiot. the players have to start making plays. we have been 7 and 6 the last 2 years with 3 to play. that is coaching putting your team in a position to win. at that point we lost 3 straight games to fall to 7 and 9. the 3 seasons leading up to tonys start here we were a 6,4 and 1 win team. we have only played 2 meaningless games in 3 years with tony. im tierd off players getting a pass for there play and our coach getting all the blame. and what happen to omar kelly saying that all 53 guys having the back of tony. why all of a sudden since where 0 and 2 thats not the case. bs, if im coach i put a foot up some ones *** and tell them there jobs are on the line, because '' mine is''... GO PHISH!!!!!!!
