I've seen a ton of threads on this board where fans say sign this guy! Sign that guy! 9 times out of 10 it's some thug or trouble maker that's getting cut. Have you taken the time to ask yourself why this players is being cut? Did it ever occure to you that maybe the guy is just not worth the trouble. If a player's contract has to be used for bail we might be better off letting another team worry about the headache they just signed. Stop sounding desperate! BP has a big enough job trying to turn this team around without having to add a bail bondmen to the staff. So the next time you feel like saying sign this guy! Sign that guy! STOP! THINK! THEN...DON'T!
 
yea your right. no one has ever been cut than went on to be good and stay out of trouble with a new team.. good point :)
 
Yes and no. I agree with your point on seeing eight million "sign this guy" threads, but there is a big difference between someone being cut because of problems and someone being cut as basically a salary cap casualty. Take for example when players get cut so the team doesn't have to pay them a roster bonus.
 
...and now we have just as many "stop making threads about signing guys" threads as we have "sign this guy" threads.
 
Every day now I am going to find everyone who got cut and make a post how we should sign him just to make people like you mad!
 
I don't understand why this is always an issue. If you know someone is cut, you see his name is a topic on a thread, and you think the idea of signing the guy is ridiculous......don't click on it.

Very easy really. There are plenty of threads I don't touch because I know there is nothing of substance behind them. If you don't want to discuss it, you don't have to.
 
The comment that drives me crazy is when people say "they won't act up here, Parcells will keep them straight" or "Cam will keep them straight", or "Nick will keep them straight". This is not high school. These coaches are not babysitters. It's not the coaches job to keep players in line.

I'm not angry. Make all the posts you want. That's what this board is for. Like anybody else I'm just expressing an opinion. So don't get your panties in a bunch. I'd be surprised if BP signed a thug player anyway. One of the criteria that BP insists on is being smart. Players that get in trouble with the law usually aren't very smart.

for real! how are these posts not moved anyway? they're just a bunch of complaining and nothing to do with football. at least the sign me threads are football related.
 
Tab Perry was just cut by the Dolphins.

LET'S SIGN HIM NOW!!! He's injured a lot, but I'm sure he'll be fine under the strict physical regimine Parcells has.
 
all this political correctness crap is getting old. i want to discuss dolphins football and i or other fin fans should not hat to worry about which issue not to post.
I think it sux being a dolphin fan living where the local media refuses to acknowledge any of the dolphins players so i come here to read and learn about our current and former players.
IT would be cool if we had more threads about the coaches , fans and players instead of the you cant do that or you better not do this .

sorry guys i need to have my dolphins info even if it is fantasy players teaming up with players from anther errra .
