If we really want phillip rivers pat kirwan said on nfl total access we will have to trade them a top ten or just first round pick.SCRE THAT!!We should just get a Qb straight outta college at that point.Heres my top three choices for QB's because they fir in our system.

1.Vince young-he has proved to me he is a worthy Qb.Not a runner but now an actual qb.He has the long ball down so good.Hes accurate and he comes in in the clutch.

2.Marcus Vick-he can throw the deep ball and accurate unlike his bro.Accurate.

3.Omar Jacobs-I was really high on this guy but then after wathching the boise state game he made bad decisions that couldve been interceptions.But he fits in our system.Deep ball is his strenght.Mobile.Think about it bowling green has no good offense cept one wideout.Imagine the fins getting this guy.
 
We need a QB, and thats what Rivers is.

We dont need another RB, we already have Ricky and Ronnie.
 
Rivers will have had 2 years of NFL experience and his salary will be low for such a high pick because we won't have to pay any of the signing bonus money. He would also be under contract for 5 more years. If you think he is just as gifted a QB as Vick, Jacobs, or Vince Young, he is cheaper, has more NFL experience, and could most likely start opening day next year no problems...
 
how do we know hes even good.He sits on the bench for two years.
 
Jacobs is a project with high upside. His mechanics need a little tweaking as does his footwork.

true but he doesnt have many people around him that can make plays like brown and williams

We need a QB with some pedigree.. Rivers has that.
 
Hey, good point! Maybe we need to grow bigger ???? and do what Tamba Bay did.
 
Well I don't think any of us know which QB would be best for this team, but I'm confident that Saban and Meuller will know who to get.
 
why not trade the 1st..... Rivers is almost worth a 1st overall anyways!
plus hes been under veteran tips from brees for the past year.... That should give him an edge over leinert!
 
Vick needs another season to play Qb in college, just my opinion, I watched the Vtech game the other night, he's got a nice arm, but made some questionable decisions. But he definitely stays in the pocket longer than Michael Vick does.
