For those wanting a CB first round.....

His stock rose while he sat out in the NC. Defense looked much worse without him.

Miller has been talking up Alexander for a little while now, so I kind of would expect him to say other NFL guys love him too.

Of all of the known Internet draft people, he's the dude who's opinion I care for the least. He doesn't really offer much as far as breaking down tape, he kind of just got lucky and took a really good twitter name early when twitter was just getting going, and he got followers/readers because of it.

I like Alexander over Hargreaves but not Ramsey though I would play Ramsey and FS not CB.

Ramsey's versatility puts him above both of them. As for Alexander vs. Hargreaves, choosing between them would be a good problem to have.

I don't see how someone can watch all the Clemson games and all the florida games and come away with the opinion that Alexander is better than hargreaves. Dude has shut down that side of the field since he put on a UF jersey. People are putting way too much stock into Hargreaves getting too cute in the bowl game. He got burnt twice in that game (trying to jump routes, not getting beat), which is about as many times as that happened his entire UF career. Alexander is a first rounder for sure, but you can't put him on an island like you can Hargreaves. Not from jump street at least. Let's not get crazy

He is a hard eval as no one ever went at him...not sure how well he plays the ball...he's good, but still a difficult evaluation.

I'm obviously bias, but Ramsey is one of the best defender (right there with Bosa), his value as a corner is a little lower, but he is an elite FS.

How many Clemson games did you watch this year? That's exactly what Clemson has done with Alexander the last 2 years, and they have been in the top 10 in D both years. He has been a true "shut down" corner. When he had to leave the National Championship with a pulled hamstring, the Clemson defensive backfield crumbled.

All of them i think. I was talking NFL, not the ACC. Little different. I think there will be a bit of a learning curve with alexander, nothing crazy or not normal. I think Hargreaves will come in and shut it down right away - which we need. Just my take from watching all their games and level of competition.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the prospect. Wouldn't even be mad (depending how it falls) if we got him at 8. But if we pass on either Hargreaves or ramsey for him ... not what smart teams do

Doesnt have hargreaves awareness for the position and the ball...doesnt show understanding of situational route combos...loses the ball a lot...just no where near the same natural feel for coverage and ball skills hargreaves has...doesnt maintain the man and the qb down the field...just doesnt have the natural feel for the man and the ball

While he hasn't given up a TD catch in something like two seasons, 13 from UNC had a relatively easy time beating him deep, and that concerns me some. Some people I respect a lot are higher on him than I am, but I agree with just about all of this.

Got around to watching more Jalen Ramsey. His versatility is eye opening. I'm wondering how he would look in a role like Tyrann has in arizona, and I'm pretty sure he would completely excel at it, and ruin a lot of plays for offenses.

Yet it seems 7 NFL differ with you in their evaluation of Alexander.

That is his value, in the end I think you settle him in at Free and forget about the position for the next 10-12 years while he racks up pro-bowls.
