didn't some of the writers compare him to Ricky, as far as quirkiness?
 
just went to Houston Chronicle's site and they say now that Benson met yesterday w/the Bears to try to work things out and that "pessimism" has been replaced by "guarded optimism" that things might work out. Not sure what he's getting into a hissy fit over. I'm glad Brown didn't try to pull this crap while going back and forth with the fins FO.

i liked him as a player, but this holdout has been extremely lame, and is making him look really stupid.

Not to rehash all this, but he never impressed me in any game of his I watched.

Yes, he beat up on the weak teams on his schedule with that big Texas O-line, but he disapeared in the big games and bowl games.

I think he has bust written all over him.
 
the Bears are desperate and thats why they put up with this crap, they just lost their QB all year so they need a good running game. no doubt a good team like the Eagles wouldn't put up with this because they wouldn't need to
