......staying in the league long enough to break Marino's record.Take this for what it's worth. I went to high school with William Henderson (Packers fullback). I saw him yesterday, and talked with him for a few minutes. He said he was planning to stay in the league for three more years. I then asked about Brett. He said from what he knows, Brett plans on 3 more years also.

Sound's to me like he wants those records. No big surprise.(or even breaking news) I just figured since there's always talk of him retiring, it (Marinos records) would concern some of you.

Henderson's a ****ing PIMP!

Next time you see him, tell him bobdroopy says hi. :)

Brett Favre is the boy who cried wolf when it comes to retirement every year. He says he's thinking about retirement, he makes it look like he's going to retire and that this is going to be his last year, EVERYTIME. But he always ends up coming back. I really don't know if he'll play 3 more years, I don't know what to think. Don't get me wrong I've always liked Brett Favre and been a pretty big fan of him to be quite honest. If he does decide to play for 3 more years to break the record, then so be it. He can want those records all he wants, doesn't mean he's going to get them just because he plays 3 more seasons. If he breaks Marino's records, then he sure as hell deserves it. But he WON'T break Marino's records...

 Why do you say that ?

I have only seen him about four or five times since high school.(1990)
Seeing him yesterday was just by chance. He, his wife, and his son all came into a restraunt that I was in, and happened to walk past my table. I don't really keep in touch with him or anything like that. We weren't that close in school. More of a "Hey, how ya' doing ?" sort of thing.

Rudi Johnson went to my school too. He was younger though, so I never really knew him. He came in and broke most (if not all) of Hendersons records.

I have the NFL sunday ticket at my house, and have a setup of a bunch of TVs right next to each other. Most of my friends are packer cheeseheads, so the packer games are always on. They all worship henderson, so i started to pay attention to him. (Back in the day, we used to fight about who was the better fullback, Henderson or Konrad (Who they called ***rad  ) and i soon gave up on that argument after watching him play for a season.) When the guy catches the ball in the flat he is destructive. He is huge, and has the ability to run anyone over, when a cornerback trys to knee tackle him. Henderson jumps right over him, which happened at least 10 times this season..

He is best fullback in the league.. the guy is a frickin beast.

As much as I have enjoyed Favre play he looked like a different player last year.
IMO he wont last three years. If he sticks around that long he may suffer the indignity of being benched or cut or quited just like Marino.

if he does i wouldn't be pissed since the pack is my second favorite team, though i don't think Favre will last long enough to break the record

Second favorite teams.... :shakeno:

Favre is washed up. He has been the sole reason for his team leaving the playoffs the past 4 or 5 seasons with his multi-interception games. His chance at a Super Bowl has been over since the 2000 (I think) season where he threw 6 picks against the Rams. His defense is awful and now he lost a couple of guys off the O-line as well. The only reason for Favre to stay around is to break Marino's records and of course for the money. I personally don't understand the love affair that Favre gets from so many and I think he is an overrated player.

Favre is overrated now, but that's only because people still expect him to be the player he once was. The guy was a great QB, probably the best in the game when he was in his prime.

Bill Gramatica :shakeno:

Hey Bill 'Automatica' Gramatica went 2/3 PATs this year...

Now your dissing him... :shakeno:

dude was the 3rd string KICKER

No, we've never had three kickers on the roster..

Automatica Gramatica had about half a day's notice before jumping on a plane and dressing in the fins uniform..

Then what did he do.

He went 2/3 PATs, thats a 66.6% success rate. Also one of the most clutch kickers in dolphins history. We did lose the game by 1 point, but on the other had that lead the way to the 2nd pick in the draft, which gave the way to Ronnie Brown and a new era of dolphins football..

He was cut right after the game
