I love nearly all the site changes and recent mods. The admins have done a wonderful job in rolling the improvements out with minimal disturption to the site.

There is one feature that I really care for and that is the new left-most column with the posting count. For me at least, that column is distracting. Ok, I admit that I am easily confused. :lol: It makes the thead row get blown out of proportion and because the info in the element is more that the row width can take.

I'm no site design expert but I thought I'd throw it out for discussion.

Again, great job on everything

I have no idea what he's referring to, but I brought it to staffs attention to see if anyone else did. :D
 
Last night, the left-most column was missing the envelope icon and in threads where I had posted, instead of having the icon, the column contained the same information (in text) you see when you mouse over the left-most column
 
I think it is an issue with Firefox when there is ALT text and missing images. With Safari, I get a missing image icon.

Using Explorer I dont get any of that stuff.....guess it is the ONLY benefit to using Gates product..:wink:
 
Since we are talking about weird things...how come I have had this "warning" thingy below my avatar? It has a % next to it and it always shows zero...but noone else seems to have it. Who am I warning..or who is warning me?

hahaha, I must admit, I felt much the same (confused) until it was explained. That is your personal "I been bad" meter. Only you and staff can see. It is to keep you current on your "demerits". I will look for the thread explaining it.

Banner ads now for Premium members or is this just another glitch? I have a banner ad at the top of each page when I am logged in

I was wondering about that as AJ had originally said we wouldn't get any, not that it is that annoying, but still...

I get that issue with one of my Tablet PCs running either IE 7.0 beta or Firefox, the other Tablet PC has none of those issues. I was thinking that an update was needed but I am same on both and they are both Serviced Packed to the same level, so I am not sure why, just thought that my older Motion Tablet was getting past it, glad to see that it isn't just me.
