Team's estimated value is $912 million, up 7% from last year. Dolphins are in the top 10 in operating income but also among one of the most debt-leveraged teams, presumably due to the stadium upgrades.

wow , we are expensive, he bought them for 138 mill, that's a good investment
 
138 M is a good price. But, that's deceptive. That can't include the Stadium which cost $125 M to build. It would mean he bought the team for $138 M. There has to be other debt issues from the stadium. The value of the team also includes $144 M estimation for the value of the stadium.

Those, of course are all very complex numbers. Nevertheless, the team value has appreciated.

Really, most franchises, except for a few, don't make a ton of profit on a yearly basis. Where you really make a profit in the pro sports ownership business is when you finally sell the team after its value has gone up.

The teams value will increase significantly next year as well, once the renovations are complete.

Cleo is a very important peice to the Miami Dolphins. I mean who else would you put up there? LOL
