Forget about trading Beck or McCown to the Steelers

Well, the good thing is that if another team has a QB go down, the two top free agent options are now off the market. It increases the chance for a trade. :up:

I would take a 6th or 7th round pick for McCown.

Good luck to Byron.. hope he can overcome those injuries and find some professional redemption.... he seems like a good guy. As far as "Gandhi" is concerned, I thought he got an unfair deal from RandyCam, but essentially he got paid more in a year than many people make in a lifetime for riding a bike and taking a few on field hits.. and once he tried to sabotage any trades by telling would-be suitors to bide their time, all my sympathy went out the window. I don't begrudge him hs one shining moment, lording it over our pathetic team in front of our own fans last year, especially since I never thought he was particularly classy. As the old saying goes, "hope he gets what he deserves."
 
Miami and Tampa now hold the keys for any team that needs a QB. Should be interesting as the preseason goes on.
 
I never considered it anyway.

But, I would take whatever I could get for either Beck or Chainsaw Charlie at this point. Both of them make me vomit uncontrolably.
