Rumor: Jay Cutler might be a Jet.....

Jets | New regime could have interest in a quarterback during NFL Draft
Thu, 9 Feb 2006 11:06:38 -0800
Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports while former New York Jets general manager Terry Bradway and former head coach Herman Edwards were opposed to using their fourth-overall selection in the upcoming NFL Draft on a quarterback, the team's new team of head coach Eric Mangini and general manager Mike Tannenbaum may have a different view. With there being major concerns over QB Chad Pennington (shoulder), the new regime may want to look for a long-term answer at the position. Pennington is recovering from shoulder surgery and will be asked to take a pay cut.

Start looking at Brodie Croyle,Charlie Whitehurst or my personal favorite Omar Jacobs......

Omar Jacobs will be the Dolphins next QB, The kid sounds like a Clone of MCnair. He is 6'4 230 pounds and has a cannon he also threw for 41 tds and 4ints hs sophmore year alone.

There is nothing in that story.

It is all the speculation of the writer

Yet another fortune teller telling us who to forget about drafting.

Get a hobby and don't quit your day job. :shakeno:

Yeah, I would say that that is the very real possibility......the more I think about it, the more I think we'll be better off taking a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Croyle would be my pick. Although Jacobs has all the physical ability in the world, I just don't feel the intangibles that I think we need at the position.

Name- Omar Jacobs
Hometown- Delray, FL
Ht: 6-4
Wt: 226

This guys stock is rising and some people are saying he may even get drafted in the second RD...... If Jacobs improves enough to be a 2nd RD you forget about CUtler you draft yourself MAx Jean Giles with your 1st and you snag Jacobs in the Second... You imagine if Jacobs turns out to be the Steel of the Draft....
