Forget Offense, We need Frikkin D

I'm sorry but everytime I see this defense on the field I get that "big play coming" feeling ...Any average QB'S or RB's can have a field day against our Defense...Mike Vick had more yards passing v.s us than any other teams..Ruben Drown looked like a pro bowler out there..The LB'S are slow, the safeties need more speed, and there's Reggie Howard who is in a league of his own and Sam Madison who can't tackle an 85 year old lady.

In order for an offense to be productive, they need help from the defense, but if the defense is on the field for a frikkin quarter, what can the offense do..

I believe we have some great receivers in Wes Welker and Cliff Russel for the future...Even though Russel wasn't spectacular today, he will have a big game one of these days...Our O-line are opening up some holes...D. Mckintosh got only beat once from what I saw..We have 2 great running backs..

On the other side of town(defense) Jayson Taylor and Kevin Carter are not as effective as they were during the beginning of the season. We have holes everywhere on defense...I guess Jim Bates was right when he said the defense needed more work....

this position is the #2 priority, imo

Bates said at the end of the year....Defense, as a whole, was the biggest concern. That said....there isn't an area within our team (QB, Oline, WR, DT, DE, LB, S, SS etc.) that we couldn't improve upon. Ok...one...RB. We look good at that position.

Well, if we dont have an offense that can establish some drives, theres no defense in the NFL that is going to be able to stop the opponent all the time. We need a QB desperately!

Hard to say after a game where we put up a big ZERO on the scoreboard that offense isnt the biggest concern, particularly Qb.
