Yes, either via division record (if they lose to Buffalo) or AFC record (if they lose to Texas or Jacksonville, which would also even up the tiebreak in common games).

Forget playoff scenarios — just win this Sunday = perfect attitude for the players and coaches.....meaningless for fans.
they have no control over what happens in any other game, so their focus should be 100% on the one game they do control.
...we fans have no control over any outcome of any game, so that mindset is useless to us...we can HOPE that all games go our way.

I agree with Sparano. Beat the Titans, take a quick look at how the other games shake out, and then get ready for the Texans.
it doesn't hurt to know the playoff scenarios. i don't have to play on Sunday and i want to be equipped for the glut of threads and posts who will pop up if we lose.
