And I'm excited about it. I think he's going to work out for us. He's Mobile and Accurate.

I'm more excited about tomorrow when we pick up some key free agents. Miami is a young and up and coming team Peyton wouldn't work out for the long run in Miami. We need our own guy that Henne never turned into.

My opinion is Sherman is getting us his quarterback and Ireland really doesn't have much say on this pick getting over powered by Ross, Philbin, and Sherman knowing the team needs a real quarterback.

Welcome:
Ryan Timothy Tannehill
(born July 27, 1988 in Big Spring, Texas) is the startingquarterback for the Texas A&M Aggies college football team. He played at wide receiver during his freshman and sophomore seasons. He continued to play receiver midway through his junior season, but switched to playing quarterback for the remainder of the season. He is considered one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2012 NFL Draft.[SUP][1][/SUP]

If we have run out of all the other options I'll be ok with it but I dont think he is very good

Can't throw the deep ball well and I never trust big 12 qbs

I'll believe it when I see it.
What we need is Manning and a young QB to groom like Tannehill.

I am hearing the Rams will trade down (again) from #6 to a team that really wants Tannehill....like Seattle, or someone else.

I like Tannenhill but as mentioned,I would prefer him to be groomed for a couple of years, Also, i really believe taking tannenhill at #8 will be a big reach.

The only way i want Tannehill at 8 is if Manning is sign. Tannehill is not the answer right now, maybe in 3 years but he is way too raw to pick at 8 and be our only QB other than Matt Moore. I remember last year i was bashing the Vikings for taking Ponder so high this would be the equivalent if not worse.

and here we go....it aint a reach if the market says its not.

and we tend to lock into one guy alot (I am guilty), but Kirk Cousins rising as well. Early second rounder is my prediction.

What's the worst that can happen, we've got another Chad Henne? I'm numb at this point.

Whoever our QB is, I hope he turns into a great one. And I'm not sure I even care at this point if he turns out to be crap. Used to it, I guess.

I like Weeden better, and don't give me the he's too old remarks. If he can come in and hit the ground running, he'll have 10 years to play. I'll take that any day.

GO PHINS~!

I really like Ryan Tannehill. Actually, I think he has everything you'd look for in a top qb prospect except for a lot of experience. But there will be plenty of competition for him as well. Cleveland could call his name at #4 if they don't get Matt Flynn. Seattle could trade up and the Buffalo Bills are also a possibility. No guarantees he'll be there at #8.

If he could come in and hit the ground running he'd be rated higher then a 2-3 rd pick..

If Luck and RG3 werent in this draft it's highly likely Tannehill would easily go top 5. People forget this guy is a phreak of nature. His height, his speed, everything. He was A&M's leading RECEIVER for two years.
Flynn cant match his mobility, which dwarfs Rogers' even.

You could even PLAY Tannehill as a WR if say we picked up Manning or Flynn.
