I was thinking what dolphins moment you guys can think of that alot of people have maybe forgoten about I was think and do you guys remember the game where Marino got injured with a pinched nurve in his shoulder and damon Huard came in and led them to a come back against the Pats who was that he hit with the game winning touchdown wasnt it the fulback Pritchett i dont remember but if someone knows let me know but that was a great game what other games do you guys remember that us fans might hav forgotten.

Well, that Huard game against Colts where Leslie Shepherd was busting his GUTS to make plays. Everyone on the team that day was doing so, except Tony Martin (one of my most disliked Dolphins of all time).

[Edit - Ooops, Martin was injured too that game, iIrc. I remember thinking Shepherd demonstrated through effort why he should retain the starting position over that pos Martin]

The flea flicker from marino to pritchett, to marino, to Martin. Not sure what game that was.

thats not forgotten....thats in all our memory banks for the rest of our lives....lol.

You're right. :D The pass was to Mark Ingram, if I'm not mistaken. Still an awesome play by the master of the game.

One of my favorite forgotten moments was sitting in Anaheim Stadium in `86, when Marino hit Duper for his fifth TD pass of the game (Dupers 3rd) and we beat the Rams in OT, 37-31 if I remember.

I'm pretty sure I created a thread just like this about 2 months ago. Not only that one of the main purposes of me making the thread was to bring up Huards comeback against the Pats. Not saying that you knew that and are copying, just letting you know this thread allready exists somewhere in the depths of this forum

Huards game winning TD against the Colts on the road in 2000 (in a season in which Miami won the division by a narrow margin, this was a huge and unlikely road victory).

Oronde Gadsden's heads-up play on the road against Buffalo in 2001. In a very minor but memorable play, Fiedler threw yet another pass into double coverage as Miami was attempting to rally. Oronde (and Chambers could learn a bit from this, as he's slipping in this area) not only came back to his ball but made sure right as the ball came in that he got physical with the corners and prevented the interception, which was a key moment in their comeback.

Terrell Buckley's late interception against Indianapolis in 2003. If Miami had won this game, this would be a lasting memory, but will likely die in years to come since Griese got blindsided thanks to a whiff by Wade Smith.

Ricky Williams' crossfield run against Jacksonville in 2003. No real significance, other than it was just a highlight reel moment, where Ricky runs left, finds nothing, reverses the field completely, and picks up about 17.

If you're wondering why it's all recent years I put in there...I've been watching the Fins since 1988 but since I am only 25 years old a lot of the plays from that era I remember are ones everybody knows (fake spike...comeback win against the Jets in 1992 by Marino...late field goal against the Bears to win...Leon Lett gaff ...)

Marino gets hit hard by LB Greg Lloyd of the Steelers on MNF. Laying on his back Marino grabs Lloyd's facemask and offers a few words of inspiration to him. Classic Marino, the ultimate competitor.

Dont forget that block that fiedler threw for him give the man some props

Heh... how about that 92 or 93 game @ Chicago, in snow flurries, where Clayton comes up with a Marino bomb while laying on his back?

And you live up to the thread. I remember his block now but I had totally forgotten it until you just reminded me. A truly awesome block :)
