Former Miami Dolphins safety Charlie Babb (1972-79) recently had a 1972 Super Bowl ring, among other items, stolen from his car while he was in South Florida participating in a charity event. Mr. Babb would appreciate any assistance that could help him recover the stolen pieces, especially the ring.
“In mid-December I played in Larry Little's charity golf tournament at the Miccosukee Golf Course in South Miami and, while playing, someone broke into my car and stole my Super Bowl ring, my watch and a Hall of Fame autographed helmet that I bought to support Larry's charity. As you can imagine I was heart-broken,†Babb said. “I will do anything to get the ring back and would be deeply grateful to anyone who could help me recover it.â€
If anyone has any information that might lead to the finding of these items, please contact the Miami Dolphins Media Relations Department at (954) 452-7010.
