Thompson had one good game and that was it. Good riddance. Wanny was trying to make him the next Gadsden but at least Gadsden can catch.

I can imagine what the Saints radio broadcasts would sound like.

"Brees throws to Thompson, bounces on the field 1 yard from scrimmage and boy you can tell he has shoulder problems. Thompson goes to pick it up and hand it to the refs but drops it.

He was always great in camp then had a so-so season, wish him the best though. That catch against the Patriots to win it was great.
