Im a little suprised. Guess Bates thinks their No2 pick Collins has more instant potential. Freeman wont be coming back here but i wish him well. Apparently then hes been picked up by Titans but im suprised Bates wasnt keen on him.

According to 790 Freeman asked for the release from the Packers.

I thought Freeman would have been starting, he must have asked for the release.

Freeman was never happy. I think he has a case of Larry Johnson Syndrome ("I'm not as good as I think I am" Disease)

if thats right he must have seen what was coming. i.e Collins taking the starting job. He obviously still thinks he is starting material.
