I’m think I’m more shocked that a Pouncey is just ready to play...in general.

I'm sure Tannehill will be happy to have a center that doesn't commit so many penalties and knows how to make the line calls

    Ozzy rules!!

I Still think Pouncey tips his snap somehow, I won't miss that at all.

That "elite" QB better hope his team has a good backup plan at center.

Reminds me of when Brandon Marshall made a similar statement at Pro Bowl which kind of back stabbed Henne. In that case he wasn't wrong. But you never want to say something like that that can be construed in a bad light for any of your old teammates. Pouncey doesn't appear to be very bright to me. Don't burn those bridges. You may have to play with someone you slighted in the future.

Ehh. I'm of the opinion that Rivers has been the best player on some very mediocre Charger offenses that past 6-7 years. I hope it works out for them both, as long as it isn't against the Fins...but I think Rivers started falling off a bit the last couple years.

Low class individual through and through.

Addition by subtraction. He's not qualified to lead an OL.

According to an article I read, Pouncey referred to Rivers as a Hall of Famer. Barring some unforeseen and amazing last act of his career, Rivers should not get into the Hall of Fame— but I guess that’s what happens when you unbablance the game to favor passing above all.

If Rivers gets into the Hall, then just open wide the doors because all-time greatness would no longer be required for admission.

LOL, you mean the Interception Machine P. Rivers?! He actually had a decent year last year...so likely to suck it up in '18 like Phindog said.

I'm not sure even Tannehill would take that as a shot. Does Tannehill view himself as elite? I don't think so. I think he strives to be, but he has enough self awareness to understand he isn't considered an elite QB in the league.

Pouncey was always very supportive of Ryan. He practically gushed about him at times, especially early in his career.

    There's 3 elite QBs.

    Rodgers, Brady, Brees.

Rivers is probably in the next group with Roethlisberger et. al.

Rivers is not elite. He's a notch above gunslinger.

Couldn't win with LT and Antonio Gates. Literally 2 of the best EVER at their position. If you could say that about a Fins QB, the board would dog house him permanently.

Pouncey is with a new team. Wish him the best. Time to look forward not backwards. The Dolphins need to worry about who is on the roster and who could be in the future success of the team.

Rivers is a good QB maybe one notch or half a notch above Tannehill but that’s it not a special Qb lacks arm strength but smart.

I bet Tannehill fantasizes about what it’s like to play with a halfway competent Center and offensive line.

So long Pouncey, and good riddance.

I don't think he meant it as a shot at Tannehill but it does show an extreme lack of awareness to how that kind of quote will read to others. But I doubt Pouncey has the mental fortitude to be prescient enough to consider something like that.
