Kansas City had been trying to redo Knight's contract but the sides couldn't come to terms, according to ESPN. The 31-year-old Knight has a decent chance to find work if he takes a contract for roughly the minimum.

If Sammy Knight could play special teams then yes bring him in as a backup. But I highly doubt he'll provide anything on special teams, thus no we do not bring him in.

Knight ran a 4.8 when he was with us, and he's about three years older now.

I wouldnt mind for depth purposes...He is one hell of a tackler/ dont kn ow about now but he used ot light people up

Ok I will further elaborate. he was very good in run support but was a big liability in coverage. A safety need to be able to contribute in coverage and he was very lacking in that area.
