Apparently he no showed to the game & practice this weekend. I hope he's ok maybe just trying to figure out if he wants to continue playing. When he played he was solid but staying healthy was a risk so it certainly seems like it was a good choice to go with Finnegan instead.

Damn, Jets suck that bad sending dudes into retirement.

On a serious note, hope guy is ok.
 
Well it seems he just quit on team because he was falling down depth chart due to injuries and such.
I would just cut him and go to arbitration to get the signing bonus back.
Same thng I would have done with Johnathon MArtin if he had no contact with us and did not give me a logical explanation.
He skipped out on a damn game , you cant have players doing that and its not like Patterson is so good or is so reliable.
 
Considering the Jets are forced to convert Antonio Allen from FS to CB speaks volumes for where Patterson is at in terms of ability and/or health.
 
according to Patterson it was a complete misunderstanding and he didn't go through proper channels to take time off, but the Jets aren't happy either way

He didn't go AWOL he was over at Ricky's house. :chuckle:
 
We have no corners to speak of at the current moment. Hopefully Milliner is ready to go for Oakland.

An improving Milliner, with a healthy rookie in McDougle, and a healthy Patterson would have made me feel ok about the situation cause we're still rebuilding. But Milliner getting hurt, McDougle tearing his ACL, and Patterson going AWOL has left us in really bad shape.

We should have kept Cromartie. Just to give us another capable body.The only good note is that Darrin Walls has looked pretty good. He looked good last year as well when called upon.
