Former homeless player tries to make Miami Dolphins' roster

Wow that's an interesting story, I wish him all the luck in the world and I hope his hard work pays off.

I hope he makes it. 5'11" and 4.3 speed. I'll take it! Never enough fast guys!

This puts thing into perspective... make you think about these players that holdout or refuse to attend workouts beause the multi-million dollar contract they signed a few years earlier is no longer good enough for them.

I don't know how much he'll play this year, but I hope he makes the team. Not for his story. I think he'll make a terrific deep threat. So, even if he doesn't play this year, in all honesty, Pennington doesn't have the arm to properly utilize a deep threat anyway. I want him for next year, when Henne will be using him to stretch the field. Maybe he can even get in this year on some Wild Cat packages - as White is capable of getting the ball down field.

Hopefully he can atleast make the practice squad....if nothing else....he does have a degree to fall back on.

they bring in guys like this to make our db's work extra hard during training camp
