Former Miami Dolphins VP Bill Parcells did not make the Hall of Fame

Parcells should be in the scumbag hall of fame or most overrated hall of fame.
 
He will get in eventually, but the fact that he isn't a 1st ballot HOF'er will separate him from the Shula's of the world.
Its true that BP never won anything without BB as his def coordinator and BB will probably be a 1st ballot. I personally think he shouldn't be because of the spygate incident.
Bob Kraft last week stated that in his opinion BB is the best coach in the history of the NFL. I disagree, because BB had never achieved any success without Tom Brady. Contrast that to Shula who went undefeated with his backup (an aging, declining Earl Morrall), he took teams rebuilt several times over to the SB, each with different QB's.
Does anybody really think that BB could take a team to the SB with a QB like David Woodley ( a poor man's Tim Tebow)?
 
I hate parcells as much as anyone but the main reason he didn't get in is because of the unsurety of him returning to football. The last thing the voters want to happen is voting him in and then next year he returns to football as a coach or gm

As much as I dislike Parcells for what he did to the Fins he deserved to make the Hall as much if not more than some coaches. He was not voted in as a GM but for what he did as a HC and he deserves it much more than someone like Madden did.
 
I've come to despite Parcells, how he hosed Ross for a kings ransom in order to play golf up in Jupiter, how he started throwing players and Ireland under the bus even before physically out of the building in order to deflect responsibility and how, abetted by BSPN, he's engaging in revisionist history to protect his faux legacy as a franchise rebuilder. It's all BS and disappointments like this couldn't happen to a more worthy guy.

However, that being said, he was a helluva coach for the Giants, turning around the jest and giving Dallas, after a long dry spell, their first glimmer of hope or more -and possibly even more not for a typical Romo brainfart. As a coach he's well-deserving of the HOF and as such, when he makes it in, I'll have no problem with that conceptually. Just at the moment, I'm thrilled that he didn't!

Nah, F Parcells!
 
Parcells has a lot of enemy's. He will get in, but they are gonna make hims wait it out and it might take a few times around the track before he gets in
 
I could care less about Bill Parcells, as far as i am concerened, he and Nick Saban can drive off a cliff together.
 
Parcels is a fraud and a failure! His only success was with the Giants and odd enough everythingwas selected for him. They bought the groceries all he did was cook! Outside that his 3 playoff wins aren't HOF worthy!
 
Dude got to the Super Bowl with the Patriots, took a moribund Jets squad to the doorstep of a Super Bowl (even leading the Broncos for a spell during that game), won 2 with the Giants, and made Dallas somewhat relevant again.

He should get in. People here just hate him because he coached the Jets/Pats and was a ****show for us.

I hate parcells much more not only did he screw us by being here he actually left his crappy people in place when he left.
