[Sun-Sentinel] Updating previous reports, the Miami Dolphins brought in former New England Patriots OT Kenyatta Jones on Friday, Oct. 31 for a workout, but did not sign him. The team will look at other options before signing a replacement for OT Mark Dixon (ankle), who will likely be placed on injured reserve.

Who else is available?

Can't think of anybody. Webb will be the size of Godzilla by now so forget him.

Man I hate not getting Jones. He could have been the kind to really help us out. Maybe he will look around, and we will too, and decide we are right for each other. I really believe he could give this OL a lift.

Well, we still can sign him. It just said that we would see what our other options are though.

Does anybody know how much money we would save if we put Dixon on IR?

If Dixon goes on IR ... none. We would still be liable for his full salary.

If he RETIRES... we may be able to recover some of his pay, not exactly sure how that works though.

Dixon won't go on IR... he can't because miami has the worst offensive line! even if he's back week 14-17 it'll be a good thing! we need a big man to take over for smith because he's GARBAGE!

i would take dixon with 1 foot then wade with 2... the kidd needs to put on some weight and then get some muscle.
