The true villain in the Laremy Tunsil draft-night free fall continues to be the person who accessed his social media accounts and posted damaging information with the obvious intent to spark a slide. Tunsil’s camp eventually could figure out who did it.Via ESPN’s Outside the Lines, Tunsil’s attorney and agent are investigating a former business manager/financial adviser to determine the role, if any, that he had in the smear campaign.

Weird.

This needs to just go away. Who cares who leaked it? The kid is in the NFL now, he clearly passed his piss test what more needs to be said about this?

If I lost out on $7-$8M because of this, and I now had the means to pursue it, you damn well better believe I'd be pursuing it.

That's a very weird stance to have. Wonder if you'd feel the same if someone cost you all that money.

true...

He cost himself money for being so careless

So if someone you trusted screwed you out of $7 million, youd just think, "Ah well....I shouldn't have been so darned careless."

Riiiiiight.....

Yes, if only that horrible man wouldn't have smoked the devil's lettuce! He's probably going to go assault or rape someone now! Weed is the root of all evil!

While he is a scumbag if it is him, but I want to thank him for delivering Tunsil to Miami!

Ignoring it is condoning it. If this is a person in a position of trust, like a financial advisor, he absolutely should be exposed.

No one could screw me like that because of a picture that I took, I also wouldnt keep a picture like that , to get exposed. Im not getting screwed out of any compromising picture because I would never let it happen.
Im not excusing the guy that did it but dont leave yourself exposed like that.

I dont care about anyone smolking dope but if it might affect your career prospects it is not a smart idea to keep pictures of you doing it.

So that scumbag who tried to be clever and cheap shotted him should be allowed to get away with it just because he's now an NFL player? Nice thought but reality is different. I'd be wanting payback BECAUSE he's now a bonafide NFL player and not despite that. It was obviously done out of spite. Yes Tunsil made a silly mistake but this individual cost him money for no other reason apart from selfish individual revenge so yes I'd want payback through lawful means.

Exactly, there are so many of these scumbags out there that take advantage of those that are naive in financial matters. young guys who acquire money for the first time in their lives are perfect targets for them. My grandmother was taken advantage of by two people like this after my grandfather died. Hope Tunsil hits him as hard as he's going to hit Bobby Wagner week one.

Ultimately I agree with you, I understand your point. However if this is true and it is essentially a former employee of Tunsil's I think he would be more than justified to go after this scumbag. I just hope these kids in the NCAA understand using pot is still illegal as far as the leagues they are playing in and hope to play in. It's not legal to use it in any major sport at this time. I would hope we all agree they should follow the rules that they all agreed to follow when they chose to play in the NCAA and with any luck the NFL.

If they think they should be allowed to use pot or other currently illegal substances they need to make those changes like the rest of us. With our vote.
