Forming This Team's Identity

I think we all know that a lot needs to be blown up this season, but the team needs a coherent plan moving forward. This team needs to be built around defense and power run game. You just gave Suh the biggest defensive deal in NFL history, build a physical defense around him. Tannehill is very capable of being a great game-manager type QB. I like Tannehill just fine, but he will not be a star QB who can carry a team. We have what looks like a very good, decisive, one cut, physical runner in Jay Ajayi. Put a physical O-line around him and control the game on the ground to compliment a tough defense.

Power run, tough defense, control the line of scrimmage and time of possession. That is what this team needs to be in the near future.

Agreed on everything except the QB. Tannehill is capable of being a game manager. We just shoulda payed him like one so we could afford to put more pieces in place elsewhere.
