Okay the draft is fast approaching and this will definately change based on the combine but more so free agency. But right now here is my formula for draft success.
1. OT - Jake Long althought chris is the popular choice I believe we must solidify the line, with Long, Carey, Satele and potentially Hadnot this would be a untouchable line for years to come, I'm not going to complain when we more the likely pick Chris #1 but I feel Jake is the safest bet to help our team for many, many years. Chris isn't a need aswell so why use a pick on him and then be forced to use a pick on a OT in the second or third rounds. We have too many holes to fill.

2a. NT - Pat Sims, big and the best junior prospect at DT, assuming we run a 3-4 he has prototypical size for nose (315ish), theres a reason patrick willis got 174 tackles in their system and the reason is a strony nose at the center of that D, if we wanna stop the run we need a guy like Pat.

2b. TE - Martellus Bennett if he falls this far is a gift, he's well rounded and has a huge build, we need a TE to help develop Beck. John Carlson is also an option.

3. ILB - Beau Bell - With Zach gone theres another hole on our run D and Beau Bell is a 245 lbs of tackling power, hes highly underated and would really help out our linebacking core.

4. CB - Dwight Lowery is an absolute ball hawk and with a deep corner class it's not necessary to waste a pick on one to high in the draft, zenon is plan B here as our secondary needs a playmaking DB.

6. QB - Matt Flynn - he has good size and can scramble, i feel parcells will look into a guy incase Beck doesn't pan out, low risk potentially high reward in the 6th round, no buddy calls a late rounder a bust but they do call them a steal if they pan out.

7. WR - best possesion reciever available, maybe if Jordy Nelson is available in our 2B pick we take him.
Thoughts?

all wrong..... Formula to Draft success= Bill Parcells

I think TE is a wasted pick when this draft is deep with D-line and O-line. These guys are way more important for us now than a TE.You have a nice draft but I would take a "mauler" like R.Schuening OG with 2b, or a guy like Red Bryant who could play DE for us. We can grab a TE with 6/7th or FA or better yet wait till next year. If Lowery is there at 4 it would be a dream pick up.

The draft is significantly deep at tackle, so given that Jake Long isn't an elite prospect on the level of an Pace or Boselli, I don't feel it's something we need to address there.

alrite, personally with the TE pick I would prefer a 6th rounder but i want matt flynn somewhere and 4th is to early 7th is too late. personally id like cottam in the 6th but only time will tell.

Personally I'd try to land a stud FA CB and depth WR's(Hackett/B.Johnson or K.Johnson) so come draft time we can load up on O-line, D-line and LB's.With seven picks I'd make two O-line, three D-line and two LB's. 1/J.Long, 2/P.Sims, 2b/R.Bryant, 3/B.Bell, 4/R.Schuening, 6/,J.Shirley 7/???

You might want to correct the weight on Bell. You have him listed at 145 lbs.
