Foster to start..

I could go either way. If the line blocks I think they could both produce. If the line doesn't open holes both will struggle. Foster would get the edge because he's the better receiver and better in pass protection. As stated earlier I expect both to see a lot of action and for Drake to get a few carries and looks out of the backfield too.

Foster is a better running back in every facet of being a RB than Ajayi... Ajayi is younger and runs faster... thats about it...

not surprised about this...Ajayi didnt do anything in camp or preseason to run away with the job. Foster was always a top rb for many years and has the experience and resume to be the starter. Can he stay healthy? idk, we will see but im not the least bit surprised by the news that hes the starter. I do think Ajayi will still get a fair share of carries regardless but it just makes sense to name foster the starter at this point.

The entire rb group is extremely underwhelming

I still think it will be a split thing with foster and ajayi

Ajayi has warts mainly that he fights the football and has little vision but hes downhill and he can set a physical tone...and thats needed desperately in doses with this finesse oline we gonna roll with

Yup. Even this .75x speed version of Foster is far better than anything jay showed in preseason. Still wondering where those flashes we saw last year went though, so I'm holding out a little hope.

I said it early, what I thought was surprising that we heard absolutely nothing about Ajayi all camp and summer. I wasnt surprised that we heard praise of Arian Foster. For Ajayi losing to Arian Foster with so much of a head start says a lot of Ajayi.

Ajayi was handed the job. We should have made way better sure he was the guy before we let Miller walk!!

I'm still trying to figure out what did you do with the 6 mill we saved for Miller?

I'm still hoping Ajayi will come into his own. A guy that gets 2000 yards rushing plus 500 receiving in one season can't be all that bad. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet.

Ozzy rules!!
