Found this on the saints forums

You did not even read the post man you hate for Henne and Sporano is so great we made a TD in that game that the refs did not call for us. It was clearly shown in a picture in Sports Il.
I know we should have beaten them anyway regarless if we get the TD called or not. Amazing the excuses we make just because of our current view of the team.
You do realize that Sparano called a time out with 3 seconds left in the first half giving the Saints time to set up a TD play instead of kicking a field goal. You also realize that Henne threw a pick 6 on the first drive in the second half. Could it be the momentum shift of those two incredibly stupid plays cost Miami the game?

No we had no talent on offense because our FO sucks. To running backs with the same style. No speed at WR and lets not talk about TEs. On top of that it is ridiculous to blame Hene for everything from last season.

Lol, clueless...

I think its a pretty good argument actually. I mean, he's our only proven RB and at WR the only top quality player we have is Marshall. How many other playmakers do we have on the offense? Bess is a solid slot receiver, but not a theat to take it to the house at any given moment. Hartline and Fasano again are solid guys, but not playmakers. Gates has big play ability, but he's just a rookie.

There is talent, but its certainly not a high-powered offense.

Reading this board you would swear he has stolen half of your girlfriends. The attacks on this guy are uncalled for. Did he live up to the expectations? No. Was he the greatest thing since sliced bread? No. Did he try his hardest? Yes. Did he bleed, sweat and cry for this team and city? Yes. Did he donate more money to the city of New Orleans than every poster on these forums combined? YES. Did he help the Saints win a superbowl? F'n YES.

I have moved on, I will be cheering for the saints as hard as physically possible. I have been doing so since birth.

Does that mean I am not allowed to wish a former Saint, who was nothing but a positive influence on our team and city well????

GROW THE F UP PEOPLE. OR GET A LIFE. WHICHEVER PERTAINS TO YOU.

I liked this one better. Seems like it's not just the Dolphin forums where 70%+ of the members are bitter armchair GM's.

Blows my mind when people go out of their way to be venomous.

Yes I do. I also know 6 more points and we won that game we got them and the refs took them away. Any time a team looses and even wins you wil find flaws. I am sure if the Saints had lost that game there would be posts on their site by some fan about how their staff or some player just blew it. The entire point I am making is that Saints team was talented probably more so than ours but we still almost pulled off that win with what many fans consider now a sub par coach, QB and anyone else that has been thrown under the bus lately. Games like those are momentum builders gives a team confidence we win that one and it leads to more wins usually but when a team plays its heart out and looses games like those it deflates it a bit also.

I think the Saints "talent" is vastly overrated.

QB: Brees/Henne
RB: Thomas/Bush
RB: Ingram/Thomas
WR: Colston/Marshall
WR: Henderson/Bess
WR: Meachem/Hartline
WR: Moore/Gates

Saints have the advantage on talent at QB, RB2, WR3 and WR4...but, they run a lot of 4 wides which is why they would make sure their #3 and #4 are talented...whereas up until now that wasn't a priority for the Dolphins...

the biggest talent gap is QB...

Probably should have said there isn't many players like Bush.. aka speed and agility like his.

But I'm sure down the road whenever Bush does good they'll try to downplay it to make themselves feel better about Bush not being there anymore.
Nah, I wouldn't take this guy's view as the view of Saints fans in general. I watch a lot of Saints games (NOLA is my second home, and will eventually be my first) and hang out with a lot of Saints fans. The majority of my friends loved Bush (ha!) when he was there and wish they were able to keep him. His stats while there simply don't come close to telling the whole story. Whenever he was injured, it clearly affected the offense.

Sproles will make up for it quite a bit, as will Ingram, who is a beast. They'll be fine. In the end, I feel it's win-win for both teams. I just wish we had a little more depth at the position. I'm not all that confident in Hilliard.

You left out a major part of any offense and the is the line. We had more combinations than baskin robbins has flavors.

It really did make me laugh lol, read below.

I found it hilarious =/, miami no talent? well lets see, before reggie came here, marshall/bess/hartline/brown/ricky/fasano/polite/hilliard/moore. Pretty good amount of talent on offense if you ask me.

outside of Miami not too many people even know who hartline is, hilliard, moore, and polite arent anything special and ronnie and ricky were both out of their prime. so no really not much talent.

Your missing the point, the talent was there though, we just didnt have a qb to do what henne did yesterday.

or it might just turn out to be that we didn't have an OC who wasn't senile, didn't have handcuffs on the QB to the point of paranoia.. and wasn't stuck in the 1980s

Wow, you don't get out much, huh?? Ricky and Ronnie no longer play here, and Fasano, Hillard, Moore, Hartline, and Polite aren't going to be showing up on anyones fantasy teams any time in the near future. The one you left off might be the closest thing we have to a game changer besides Marshal, and that is Gates. Hartline wasn't even a game changer WR on his team in college. You really need to take off the aqua colored glasses, if you go around to all the rest of the NFL team forums and said the phins had a lot of offensive weapons you would get laughed off the board.

Gates is a gamechanger based on his speed and from makin a few plays in practice? lol dude has done absolutely nothing to be labeled a "gamechanger". You missed the hole point of why i named ricky and ronnie, and we also replaced them so it is totally irrelevent. Do me a favor and stay of my threads cause you dont know your football very well and you also lack common sense.

The scheme was piss poor last year too. Better scheme, playcalling, added speed and improvement from Henne could make a big difference.
