Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina are the 4 teams indicted as well as..

"Federation spokesman Alessandro Salerno said 26 people — none of whom is a player — were also ordered to stand trial to the sports disciplinary tribunal."

It seems more like it's on the board at Juventus for appointing specific officials. Buffon had also been betting illegally on games too. Good to see players weren't getting too caught up in it though.

Sad for sports. :cry:

All four could be relegated. Imagine how much talent would be in that serie b league. Funny thing is, if I'm correct, only 3 teams can get promoted to the next division, so one of them would have to stay for another year.

Still, really devastating though. I feel sorry for a lot of the players. Some of my favorite players like Kaka are getting caught up in this. :(
 
If there is any justice the will be put straight into Serie C , but knowing football they will be given a "financial" penalty and to forfeit their legaue titles but allowed to stay in Serie A and European competitions.

Sad day for all of football , although i wouldnt be surprised if this was happening in any number of leagues just that no one has been stupid enough to be caught out.

Why Kaka just signed a new deal today with this hanging over Milan i don't know!!! we'd certainly welcome him at Utd :wink:

Roma was OK:D

If and I highly doubt they will be relegated I am sure some players will be released from their contracts
 
I've been a Juventus fan for 30 years....hope they move forward now. :(
