Did anybody else find them laughable today? They butchered a lot of names. They kept calling Julius Jones, Julian Jones. When Ricky burst for his 51 yard touchdown, I swear the announcer said touchdown Reggie Williams.

Throughout the game I heard Ricky called: Reggie Williams, Ricky Brown and even Reggie White.

There were some other things they butchered, but that was the main ones. Thank goodness most of the Dolphin games are on CBS.

I agree. The CBS broadcast seems to be better overall, though I did enjoy the sideline reports, especially when Smiley went down.

Ricky Brown and Ronnie Williams have become pretty common, however. Dont get why its so difficult, especially when you have all week to prepare.

Yeah I loathe Fox. CBS kicks so much more *** then Fox does, it really isn't even comparable. I mean Fox has a robot jumping around tossing a football to himself, what the hell is that anyway?

They did not do thier homework. "Ricky Brown" I noticed twice....They corrected themselves, but, as I was taught by an old DJ in my early days....."Never call attention to your mistake"

Yes i noticed many announcers just let their mistakes slide. I don't have a background in broadcasting, but it seems like the best thing to do.

At least it wasnt Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, I absolutely cannot stand listening to those two

It's about the flow of your commentary. It could be a lead in to a commercial, or talk-over into a track. Just keep going. The problem is that was before teh intrawebz were on every single mistake like a pack of hellhounds. Now, I'm not sure what the best course is.

question

Did anybody else hear them laughing at us early. I was in the kitchen and almost ran over my girlfriend trying to get back to the TV to confirm what I thought I heard ? I would like some back up before I make some calls to chew a little Fox A%$^%%.. Thanks

I didn't. The only ding I heard was when they rightly pointed out that Cam was open on a corner route. There was literally noone within 10 yards of him. CP made a perfect pass and TG caught a perfect catch.

Those two announcing today (Rosen and Ryan) are the bottom of the Fox pecking order. They always get the worst NFC game of the week.

that has to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen...

BTW, did anyone catch it when they said "at a packed dolphins stadium"?

It was packed.... of empty seats that is.... :)
