IT WAS FROM THEIR POWER RANKINGS- LINK
And I think that's because of his quickness. If he can stay around 310 he can be our Richard Seymour at DE in the 3-4, and hopefully we can land Ngata or someone similar (a 340-350 pound guy) and put him at NT. Teams would have to double both guys after they get some experience -- can you imagine two guys on the D-line soaking up FOUR blockers?Muck said:I focused on Wright a bit when I watched the game tape.
I'm telling ya, Manny Wright was giving SD's line fits. He consistently got penetration because his initial burst was greater than that of the man in front of him.
This game was a huge confidence booster for Manny Wright. Solid building block. Just sucks that Kevin Vickerson isn't out there developing with him.
Not busting on ya, but that doesn't sound like something Saban would say.bigbillshater said:Well if I remember correctly Saban said "this guy may not seem much now, but when he gets 2 to 3 years under his belt he will be a pro bowl DT".
I think we should re-sign Holliday and we will be set at DT for years to come with MW and KV. We can draft a backup DT next year. I would like to see us spend this draft on trading for a Bree's or Rivers and the secondary and o-line.shouright said:And I think that's because of his quickness. there's really no need for ngata now. if he's the ONLY player worthy at wherever we pick it'd be nice, but that won't happenshouright said:And I think that's because of his quickness.
