Can't really disagree with this assement.....

31. Miami Dolphins

Rough off-season in Miami. The Nick Saban debacle was a disaster and the start of the Cam Cameron era hasn't been much better. Joey Porter was involved in a highly publicized, embarrassing off-season slapfest with Levi Jones at a Las Vegas casino; the quarterback position is still an enormous question mark; and the head coach was heckled and mocked when announcing the team's first round pick at a draft party. Oh, and Ricky Williams  still linked to the Dolphins at least in the public eye  failed another drug test. Wes Welker's gone, so is Travis Minor, Damion McIntosh, Tony Fonoti, Randy McMichael, David Bowens, Darian Barnes, and Joey Harrington. Solid blockers Mike Rosenthal and Cory Schlesinger were added, as was David Martin, Cameron Worrell, and Porter. In the draft, they raised eyebrows by selecting Ted Ginn, Jr. over Brady Quinn, while taking a quarterback (John Beck) in the second-round. Lorenzo Booker, a disappointment at Florida State, was a first day selection as well. It's a totally new team. That could, of course, be a good thing.

Biggest gain: Ted Ginn, Jr., WR
Biggest loss: Wes Welker, WR

Are they in better shape than they were in January? Well, who's playing quarterback on opening day? Trent Green? Daunte Culpepper? John Beck? Cleo Lemon? A lot of questions like that down in Miami? The Dolphins could very well be the surprise team of the AFC. I just don't see it happening.

we will be the suprise team in the nfl,,,,10 and 6,with the offensive rookie of the tear in ginn,,executive of the year in randy and coach of the year in cam.

yep everywhere i read about this team it nothing good every and whats worse is that the Patriots are in the top 5 on every offseason ranking list and once again we are near the bottom....

basically we will be 6-10 or better next season, will that put us as the 2nd worst team in the league? no way...

we are better than last year, addition by subtraction on offense, especially the play calling... and our QB situation was just as bad, if not worse last year with Harrington... and our defense has improved... how can we get that much worse than 6-10?

Damn this # there not even funny anymore, there creazy,i mean r we missing half of our team that i dont know about?????? i will love to get a piece of them by the end of the season n see what they say then

I am willing to Bet 2 months of no posts if Buffalo has a better record than Miami. Take it or you will look like a coward.:fire:

You sure its hard to argue?

It seems like the author concentrated more on off the field issues than football ones. The Porter incident is a big deal? Really? This is the first I have heard of it in several months. Are we supposed to be surprised Ricky lets the team down again? Surely we were counting on him for big things... I dont think so. And the Nick Saban incident a disaster? Tell me how this has any impact on anything. We're talking early January, and we're talking a coach that was 15-17. Its not like Belichick left us here. The draft party booing? And that will have an impact on this season's results? How so? The only effect the draft will have is Ginn's touchdowns. This was a pathetic writeup.

The only football issues looked at are praised! He calls most of our additions solid ones, but did you see his list of impact losses? Tony Fonoti? Travis Minor? Are you kidding me?

And finally, who will play QB? I think its obvious at this point the guy is Trent Green. I love how the media tries to make it into a fiasco, when really most respectable outlets at this point can agree that Trent will be a Miami Dolphin eventually, its just a question of when it happens.

All in all, damn straight I could argue with this.

If there's one player on that Florida State offense that wasn't a disappointment, it was Lorenzo Booker.

This asessment of our offseason lost all credibility in that one sentence.

Dont forget defensive MVP or the 2nd year running

Great post man, I'm with ya 100%.

The Porter "fiasco" was hardly embarassing. I haven't heard **** about it since.

Get Trent Green's *** in here so we can the QB position "solidified".

Was Ricky even in our plans this year? I don't see the huge loss considering he didn't really seem like he'd be here.

And Saban. What does he have to do with our offseason?
