Good morning all: :dolphins:

I was making my usual rounds thru the NFL news and rumor sites and came across this gem. I got really pumped up when I read it.

Here's the link:

Obviously articles like this one from Foxsports.com are nothing new, but I still get excited when I read em.

Everyone is begun to take notice of our Phins. We are fast becoming the team to watch this year. Saban is consumed with us winning. I can't wait til Sept. 7th!!!

Anyways, please read the article and provide some feedback...

Goooooo Phinssssssssssss!!!!

Great Article! I'm just glad I'm not in those staff meetings if he day starts badly!!

How can one not get excited with Saban as our Head Coach? No, I don't think we're ready to go to SB this year. I do feel we're very close and we have closed the gap on the Pats. The playoffs are well within our reach this year.

Go FINZ

"I don't like baseball caps, because they're too easy to throw," Saban said. "I make bad decisions when I get angry. I have a lot of pride in my straw hat, so I don't want to rip it up and throw it. "

Did anyone else find that really funny? I laughed. It gets you excited but doesn't forget to remind us all of the flaws that still exist in Miami. It helps keep our hopes from getting too high. I believe the offensive line will play better than last year and the secondary is definately an upgrade witht he departure of Reggie Howard. Jason Allen is going to need to get up to game speed if we're going to have a shot with our secondary.

It's a fun read. I think we'll be serious SuperBowl contenders in a few years. Saban teams usually peak around his 4th year, and there's still a lot more tinkering to be done with this team. If our core guys can stay healthy, I think we're looking at a 10-6 or 11-5 type season where a playoff berth comes down to a tiebreaker with the Pats.

Yeah i like the fact he wears straw hats so he dont throw them. Really puts us in reallity that it has been 22 years since we have been to the SB, time to make it happen.

I love that the article says Saban is 5'10:lol: I saw him standing next to Zach in a picture who was towering over him at "supposedly" 5'10. If Saban is 5'8 I'd be shocked.

Saban will have this team in the SB in 1-2 years IMO, not this year unfortunately but definitely we'll be in the playoffs. Expect us to tie or beat Pats for first in the east.

we'll be in the Superbowl THIS YEAR, PERIOD.
I agree. And why not? we have a really good team and if we can stay healthy I say WHY NOT! we have just as much of a chance for the super bowl as any other team. Alot of people think 1-4 years befor we go to the Super Bowl, but I feel we could do it this year.

hey americans, what are little debbies, i'm hoping their cookies, because with a possessed Saban it wouldn't surprise me if theey were children named Debbies.:sidelol:

Good read. Thanks....

I think the Phinz are still one more year away, but it's great to be getting some deserved respect this year...

PHINZ RULE!!!

I don't understand when people say this. What differnece will a year make? All that does is make Jason, Zach, Holliday and Carter another year older. We got what we needed most in our franchise QB. I would agree with you if we had drafted a QB like Cutler or something. But that isn't the case. We have a proven NFL QB who can get it done and if you ask me, the time is now.

'This is the way it's going to be. If you're with me, jump on board. If you're not, get out of here."'

Love that.
