The 'phins may look to move up and somehow snag Russell or Quinn. If not, they'll likely grab a top cornerback. Revis would be the second straight defensive back Miami drafted in the first round. They took Tennessee safety Jason Allen last year.

I haven't seen Revis play, but I've heard good things about him. If we take a CB in the first round, he NEEDS to start next year.
 
Why does everyone have us taking either Leon Hall or this guy? Has anyone seen our O-line play? Has anyone even seen Chris Chambers this year? We need some talent on the offensive side of the ball for once.
 
our O-line has played well enough for us to win games. I think WR is a larger concern, though on that side of the ball. And we actually need a stud DT. We have plenty of old linemen who will not be back with the team next year. A great front seven makes up a lot for a poor secondary. But yeah, we need some work back there too. Oh, and can we finally can Mare and his overpriced contract? If he were a 90% kicker then I'd understand. But the guy misses so many damn kicks... and that's all he is responsible for!

Because defense is actually our biggest area of need in terms of building for the future. We need to get younger and cheaper on defense, since our salary cap is heavily invested in aging defensive players. Yes, they're damn good players, but the fact remains that we'll have a huge gaping hole for a defensive line if we don't get young players NOW to groom as replacements.

As for drafting offensive line... I really wouldn't mind seeing that happen, but there's no way Joe Thomas falls to us, with Arizona, Tampa Bay, and Houston drafting ahead of us. We'd have to trade up to #3 to get him.

lmao, 3 7th rounds? 1 5th that will never play for us? WOW. realistically, none of these guys could lock down the NT for us. specially if we stay in the 3-4.

5 players isn't enough to ensure a successful transition on defense. Have you even looked at the list of RFA/UFA defensive players this year? We are going to lose defensive players this year, either due to retirement or free agency. Traylor, for example, will likely retire. Is Wilkinson really appropriate as Traylor's replacement? He played extremely well this year, but he doesn't always give the necessary effort.

We have big needs on defense. Thus, we need to draft defense. But if we draft a Left Tackle with our first-round pick, I wouldn't complain--especially if we can somehow trade up to get Joe Thomas.

You've got to be kidding when saying we've played well enough on O line to win games. I don't think you watched any games last year. Daunte was on pace to be sacked more than any QB in franchise history, and he is our starting QB next year. Joey had one of the 3 worst averages of "yards per throw" in the NFL, because he was forced to throw so quickly... and you say our O line is fine? :shakeno:
If we ignore O line yet again in both draft and FA, expect another 7-9 season.

we will most likely sigh o-line in fa and our wr will be fine with a qb and a good oc
 
i just graduated from pitt and am a season ticket holder so ive been able to watch revis play since he got to college. in college he has been a shut down corner every year so far. i think that he would be a great pick.

Quality WR's can be found in later rds. Very few WR's are worthy of a top 10 pick.

Im Tired of Kicking Field Goals.
