If we were to franchise him, do we pay him one year at the cost of a right tackle, left tackle or just a tackle in general? Anyone have figures?

we pay him over 9 million. Its just based on tackle. we need to sign him . No player on our team is worth a franchise tag right now.
 
What they COULD do, however, is franchise him just to buy more time, and negotiate a LT deal. Unlikely, but it is an option nonetheless.
 
I don't think there's a player worth franchising on this lot of FAs we have this season, but that's just me.

I agree i dont know of any player we have besides maybe Jake Long that I would franchise at this point.
 
The only person i would consider franchising on this entire team is Ronnie Brown and TBH, even if we let him go, I wouldn't be as upset as some may think. Thank God that Ronnie is still safe under contract though.

Brown is the only person I would even consider franchising on this entire team.
Jake Long too. My bad nearly forgot the giant.

It's an OL in general. And it's something like $9mil.
 
Franchise or no franchise. We should not pay Carey left side money. Be fair be square. But do not overpay for this guy, he hasnt earned it.
