Frank Croyles Updated Mock

I'm sorry but any mock I see with Matt Ryan as the 1st pick I just stop reading
 
Could be interesting, i didnt even think about 49ers taking a Q or the cowboys taking Phillips. Both of those are worth thinking about.
 
Ryan at #1? No offensive linemen in the first two rounds? This guy is nuts.

Do you think Matt Ryan is worth the #1 Pick? Would you do it if you were GM?

If I was sold on him I would but I am just not convinced he is in the elite catagory.

Not for the contract and the money he would make if he flopped we would be screwed for a long time.

I feel much safer getting one in the second round.


If we could drop down 7 or 8 spots get extra picks and still get him I would be ok with that.

Jake Long looks like a good first pick to me. Even V. Gholston before M. Ryan.

First of all, I'll be happy if they take any of the top guys, because I trust the guys making the picks now.

Regarding Ryan, I have mixed emotions, but I will say this, he does have that certain something that you only seem to see in certain QB's, that ability to make the big plays and bring his team back and win games when they are on the line. From that perspective, it scares me to possibly lose out on him.

I'm totally with you on the dropping down thing.

I'd be happy with Jake Long and getting Henne or Flacco in the 2nd.
 
I really don't understand why 95% of mocks have the Cowboys taking a RB in the first round?

there was a link to McFadden initially and I understand that....Jerry Jones commented on his talent and how much he'd love to have him. that's it though. he would want DM because he is a rare talent....not because of some huge need.

They have Barber. They need a compliment. Would you spend a 1st round pick on a back who you want to split carries, knowing you already have a pro bowl back?

at least he was original enough to not throw Felix Jones in there at that spot.
 
I doubt they will select Ryan for this reason...first if they believe that Beck is as good as Ryan...why would they waste a pick....second....the money would be alot more for a QB....why would the Dolphins be trying to low ball J. Long....if they wanted to spend more on Ryan?
 
Anyone predicting a Parcell's team is going to select a QB and WR with their first 2 picks has not done his homework
